I had a wonderful stay at a club suite with my family (two babies included). Most important to me was a wonderful sandy beach, then the amazing comfort of the infinity pool at the clubhouse, with fantastic breakfasts and high teas every day.
The club suite was huge and luxurious with open views over the beach and the sunset. On the balcony a wide secluded bathtub where I could chill out sipping drinks.
Staff and quality of service top notch.
I would be glad to return in a second!

The best resort ever. The rooms are great. I have been here twice and both times just as good as the other. The pool for the kids is a great hit, just nice to go in there and relax. The infinity pool the best, relaxing nice pool looking to the ocean. The activities they provide every week are superb, and it’s good how with these activities you can learn more about the Fiji culture. The local fijian stores next to the hotel are good, they are nice and messages are wonderful. The dinner and breakfast here is wonderful I love it. The Karma lounge is also great. The beach is also great you can swim out and relax or you can open water swim it, or you can even hire sups or surfboards. The only down is that it’s far away from the airport. BUT even the trip is good looking at some Fiji school or locals. The worst part leaving, it’s the saddest part of the trip and if tort lucky some of the Intercontinental staff will sing you a song

I have been to quite a few Fijian resorts in my 15 years of living but this was the best one that I've stayed at. The staff are very helpful and nice, the pool and beach are very nice to swim in, the bathtub in our balcony was a cool experience, our room was awesome (although the beds are quite small) and the whole resort was just so beautiful and I felt so relaxed! Also the lotions and soaps that were provided were amazing :)
The only things I would say were a bit disappointing were that the rooms for 4 people only had 2 cups and 2 mugs and for dinner I ordered the Hawaiian skewers but I didn't enjoy them very much because of the capsicum (which I don't like at all) but this could've been avoided if they had stated in the menu that it had a lot of capsicum in it.
Overall it was AMAZING! And would definitely love to come back again! :D

This is one of the best resorts I've ever been to! I highly recommend staying in a club suite. The main resort with its adult pool and different style restaurants are fantastic but if you stay club you're at a mini resort of your own. There's an infinity pool on the hill looking down over the coast. The service is extra special with cocktail 2 hour period and afternoon tea all thrown in for the price. Plus it has to be mentioned that the Fijians are lovely and will make your stay even more special.

Such an amazing resort. Friendly staff always happy to help with any questions. The snorkeling is fantastic with a small reef right at the beach. Paddleboarding, kayaking and surfing is also on offer. A private pool is a good getaway from kids. Grab a coconut from the locals and enjoy some sunsets!

Food was terrible and I mean terrible. The room was dirty and smelt. They allow people to smoke in their rooms so you can smell it while your trying to relaxing.

Amazing location resort up there with the best of them much bigger than expected. House keeping could be improved. Make sure you wear some feet attire if you plan to walk out to the sand banks at low tide, lots of sharp coral pieces in sand.

This is maybe one of the best hotels I’ve ever been. The hotel itself is in a perfect position and offers the perfect holiday solution for couples and families (very good is the “adults only” pool and restaurant). Food is very good and the best is the perfect service: friendly and professional employees wherever you are in the resort! Navo restaurant is the right place for a special evening. A little expensive, but the atmosphere makes it worth the money.

This place is massive, and somewhat overwhelming; especially if you've been out on some of the smaller islands for some time prior. Situated on 35 acres of waterfront real estate, expect a lot of wind, and expect to use the complimentary buggy service.

Even in the quieter months the Intercontinental is very busy, so if you're after a quiet getaway perhaps this isn't your place (avoid the pool-side rooms in particular)

Other than these things, the staff are simply amazing and are a real asset; they went out of their way on multiple occasions to fulfill our requests. The breakfast buffet is very generous, however all other food is very expensive and not outstanding.

Other than this, Wi-Fi is really decent and we appreciated the "room of requirement" just before we were about to leave (a place to freshen up even after you've checked out).

    Thanks for having us!

Our experience with hotel management was terrible.
A few days before our departure our 2 year old son got mumps (despite being vaccinated) and could not travel. We provided medical certificates and an explanation that he is unwell as well as very contagious. We asked if we could get a credit for the stay and use it later and all they offered us was to come a week later. This was not possible as our son was not going to be well enough. No other option was provided and we were charged the full amount. I find it disgraceful that hotel management would not consider giving us at least a few more options. It is also very concerning that they knew our son was contagious and they would risk the health of other guests by only giving us the option of postponing our trip by 1 week.

In my opinion the Intercontinental Fiji is one (if not the) best resorts on the mainland. We landed and drove our rental car to the resort at the beginning of a tropical cyclone (less than ideal start to a tropical vacation). The staff kept us informed the entire time the storm was there with regular updates via flyers and staff coming to our rooms. The entire time we felt very safe and that our safety and well-being was their #1 priority. Once the store passed we were able to enjoy the amazing facilities the resort has to offer. The day spa was one of the best I have ever been to and was the best way to start our vacation and get us into relaxation mode. The meals were delicious and very reasonably priced for a resort of this standard. The road from Nadi airport to the resort doesn’t have any street lights so I would recommend getting a transfer if you are arriving late in the evening. The main thing that made our stay so incredible was the staff, I have never meet such friendly, happy, welcoming hotel staff before. They are all a true asset to this resort. We will definitely be going back to stay in the future.

Beautiful place. Perfect to just relax and enjoy the view. Cocktails and snacks by the pool. Fresh seafood for dinner. You have all you need there so you don't even need to leave the resort. Love it!

Everything you need and more. Service A1, lovely friendly staff and incredible facilities. A very well designed and catered resort. Only fussier people might question the cleanliness. No problems.

Cannot believe all the great reviews. We have booked this place relying on these reviews and were extremely disappointed. We flew 11 hours to this island to find what we would have found in a 3 star hotel in Florida. The hotel does not own the beach, the rooms are not clean, the staff is rude half the time. The price is good, but the value is not there. We asked to check out of this place within 1 hour of our arrival, and the hotel management refused to give us any sort of refund or meet us in the middle. They literally forced us to stay in the hotel we hated for 3 nights and pay full price. Very disappointed with the intercontinental brand overall after this experience. In hotel business customer service should be hotel's priority, but they chose profit over it.

Could not complain about the service, rooms. You are a long way from any towns, but that is also a charm about the place. Having a hit of golf or massages on the beach, just gives you time to relax and have a great time. Very scenic place to fly Drones.

Modern contemporary large resort with just about all you could ask for. Well designed and easy to get around plus frequent carts and bus for less energetic. Genuine friendly and helpful staff make for relaxed holiday experience. Choice of 3 good restaurants Inc Navy which has excellent fine dining. Further enhanced if have access to Club with many add ons. Despite large number of guests always seems quiet with so many areas. Adjacent golf course in great condition after Fiji Open is a must for all keen golfers.

Great staff, infectious friendly manner that go out of your way to help you with whatever you need. Brilliant for kids as all the staff treat them so well. Kids club ok but not air conditioned and some resorts offer more (it was good enough for our 9night stay) Huge resort, spread out so it doesn't feel busy. Nice beach. Big variety of room types and good size. Meals and alcoholic beverages a little expensive but we opted for the included breakfast, afternoon high tea and afternoon canapes with free 2hr drinks in the intercontinental club. We have heard some complain that walking around is too hard particularly from the top more exclusive club section but we found it perfectly fine to walk or use one of the many golf club carts or the bulla bus.

Right on the beach, it is in a great location. The hotel is nicely spread out, with wide open spaces everywhere, clean rooms and good amenities. The buffet dinner has a very good spread with a different theme for each day of the week. The spa facilities are also great and the hour long message was nicely relaxing. We enjoyed our weekend getaway here.

Great place for our Honeymoon. Inexpensive (Getting access to club intercontinental when booking is a must). Literally a paradise with great weather and facilties. The biggest plus has to be the staff, they will go out of their way to make sure your experience is flawless. Stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels, this by far had the best workforce, very friendly, very genuine.

Fantastic hotel offering the best in luxury accommodation. The hotel is in a great location on the Coral Coast and is quite spread out so there is a great sense of space and privacy. The luxurious rooms are very clean and all amenities are of a very high quality. Food at the hotel was slightly expensive as expected at a resort that is slightly isolated form any nearby towns however the taste and quality made up for it. The staff are incredible friendly and will go out of their way to ensure that all of your needs are met.

My family and I just returned from a two week stay at this wonderful resort. The weather was wonderful, the grounds were beautiful, and the staff treated us like family. We were sad to leave this place but are certain to return.
Food was exceptional but please keep in mind that the term "Fiji time" will affect the timeliness of service. Be patient and relax and have some Kava

Beautiful resort..Lots of fauna with rooms nestled on the hill side.
Rooms are a great size and staff is attentive with some inconsistencies in service (sometimes when the room was cleaned for example, there would be no replacement towels or one towel for 3 people). Service is a little slow but that's Fiji time! Complimentary breakfast, high tea and happy hour each day were great..infinity pools were amazing Lots to do with golfing, massages at the spa or beach side, swimming, eating, drinking and plenty of activities for kiddos too. The snorkeling is amazing but we were surprised that so many visitors were walking on the reef with no visible signs or response from the hotel. There are local villagers offering cheaper massages, horse rides and coconuts just next to the resort. I understand their need to make money and to capitalize from the visitors but when asked for the 50th time if we want a massage, it can become annoying.
All in all, food was great. Drinks at happy hour are worth the wait each day (also recommend stopping at food Hall, a local supermarket to stock your room with snacks and bottle of wine/spirits. Much cheaper..taxis will stop if you ask them).
All staff are super friendly and willing to help. We will be back!!
