Not the cleanest place and one of the dorms is far away from the beach. Food isn't a highlight and it's quite expensive as well.

All the staff were really friendly and helpful. Unlike many of the places we stayed, everyone chatted to eachother and shared their experiences. Mana is a beautiful island, but sadly we were unable to walk all the way round due to filming by an American t.v. company.

Fiji was a surprise package. Diving on Mana Island was spectacular. They even threw in a night dive for free. After one of the dives the Skipper diverted course and took us to the Fiji Pro surf tournament. That's what I call Fiji hospitality.

Quite possibly paradise on earth. Had i known better i would have planned my entire stay there. Great water front on pristine blue water, diving and snorkeling, boats trips Mono Riki (the island of Tom Hank's film "Castaway"), Cloud 9, fishing, nightly entertainment. It was absolutely Brilliant! Look at these pics!

We booked a tour with a travel agency in Nadi. They sent us to this place for 2 nights and did not tell us that the island is closed due to this TV Show shooting. At this very, very basic backpacker they made us pay for two nights first and then told us about it.
So, you can walk along the beach (which actually is the harbour) for like 200 Meters, that's it.
We called it "Prison Island" as there are guards who actually stop you from walking one step further.
We canceled our trip and left next morning. Did we get the last night refundes? What do you think?
Definitely the worst place we stayed on our 4 month travel!!!

Very casual Backpackers. Dive school. Tasty food & drink options plus outdoor water activities.

Can't comment on the accommodation, We stayed at the resort next door however we came here for food, diving and the people, once we figured out how to escape our own resort.

Fletch, Aaron and Simi took us out diving over 2 days. The sharks were good, the boat ride was relaxed and company was good.

Fletch in particular, is very much the friendly, enthusiastic and helpful American. The kind, you know, that'd never vote for Trump. #Winning #MakeFijiGreatAgain

The ladies from the restaurant were very pleasant and seemed to love looking after our daughter more than us, which us extremely helpful when we wanted to have our meals without the 1 yr old running off to the sand and chucking a tanty.

Not withstanding the accommodations, thoroughly recommend the people, the service and the vibe here, still manages to retain some of the bohemian feel.

We absolutely adored mana and had an amazing 3 night stay there. We had a private double room in the back and the bed was comfy but the pillows were quite tiny. Our social life was absolutely perfect on the island and between the other amazing friends we made the staff and other islanders were so warm and welcoming. We had an amazing day of island hopping and a trip to cloud 9 with Danny's adventure tours and it was so reasonably priced you would be hard pressed to find a deal like that anywhere else in fiji. We had a meal plan included with our stay and the only trouble was the breakfast was simply only toast with tea or coffee and juice. Lunch was generally good but had quite tiny portions. Dinner was absolutely amazing every night. If you are someone who likes to eat I would strongly recommend bringing a good amount of snacks as there is only a tiny shop with very few things to choose from. The shower didn't have hot water but you won't need it as the weather is absolutely magnificent and quite warm. Snorkelling off the front of the restaurant was amazing during medium to high tides. We would absolutely stay again and look forward to exploring more of the beauty fiji has to offer.

Very disappointing stay at Ratu Kini.
Mana Island is privatized to shoot several seasons of the Survivor TV show for an unlimited period. This means you can't walk/swim/snorkel/kayak/dive around the island. Security is everywhere and take it really seriously. Of course we were not informed of this when we booked and didn't get any compensation.
The food quality is really poor with fries every lunch.
The dive club is the worst I have ever experienced in the world. Very old gear and unprofessional crew. Once they left us snorkeling in the open water without any flag during 50 mins and another time we finished the dive with 120 bar of air remaining in our bottles.
Mana is an amazing island but Ratu Kini is way way overpriced for what it offers.

    Yummy food, great staff!
    Top Diving Team!
    Clean & quiet.
Good snorkeling in front of the guesthouse.
Sometimes a bit to quiet. If you need entertainment visit the secong guesthouse 5 min away.
Be aware: movieset blocks 70% of mana island till late july/2016
