This hotel is a jewel in originality of functionalist 1950s architecture, completed in 1952 for the Olympics. Don't miss the 10th floor restaurant and terrace.
It is also very conveniently located just opposite of the railway station.response / report this review -

It's located right at the heart of Helsinki. Very close to train station and shopping areas.
Rooms are comfortable and great breakfast selection.

Located in the center of Helsinki the hotel is offering everything you need.: nearby to the main attractions, fast connection to the airport, cafes, restaurants, shopping. The staff is so friendly, polite and helpful as I haven't seen in quite some time! I highly recommend this hotel ! Last but not least, very clean, great breakfast !

A slightly run down, but well located. The harbour is a few minutes walk where you can get fresh sea food catch to eat at the stall restaurants. The hotel rooms are fine - no tea or coffee in the room.

Room was comfortable clean and spacious, friendly staff and breakfast was very good with a variety of hot and cold options. Location wise, spot on - a stones throw from the main station so airport connections are quick and easy and also central for exploring the city.

Biggest minus for me is that there is even no kettler in a room. Rooms are small and quite outdated but clean. Breakfast is fine if you don't choose scrumbled eggs nor sausage.

I have been there only for dinner. There is a delicious french cuisine. Snails were absolutely perfect.
