Hotel is generally high quality. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and good quality. However, queuing for 10 minutes is unacceptable in a hotel like this. Not enough staff to seat guests, the whole breakfast is buffet EXCEPT tea and coffee served by seating member of staff so a totally unnecessary delay for those waiting. The coffee at breakfast on both days I stayed tasted like it had been brewed 2 days earlier. Finland is supposed to be the world's biggest coffee drinkers. They must be drinking elsewhere !

A great luxury hotel in the heart of Helsinki.
Rooms are lovely and comfortable, with nice bedding and amenities. Beds are comfortable and are a reasonable size too.
The gym has a lack of equipment but is functional.
Breakfast is a typical Finnish style, with a nice luxury style restaurant. Food is good quality. The service staff are helpful, but often under pressure and rushed.
Overall a great hotel, but for a slightly less formal and less expensive option, try Hotel Glo next door.response / report this review -

Great location, classic decor, nice staff. Good amenities and solid WiFi (with the only small downside being that you’re asked to re-login every day or so, but the input accepts anything that looks like an email address). In the surrounding streets you can find places to eat, drink, and shop, and it’s only a short walk to the market square and the harbor area, from where you can hop on a ferry to Suomenlinna (an island not far away) or Estonia (across the Baltic Sea). When the weather allows (and Finns will have a different opinion on this than most other people), the Esplanade with the park is right outside the door and offers good spots for sitting in the sun (hopefully), watching people, enjoying the fresh air.

Really nice place, really good food. Take the time for afternoon tea it is amazing. This was my first experience with afternoon tea and I still havent figured out why this isnt everywhere. Staff is amazing friendly and willing to answer my questions as a foreigner.

Beautiful hotel and great location. Within walking distance to markets, good restaurants, and the ferries. Hotel is very nice with two great restaurants!

Lovely hotel in the downtown area near harbor in Helsinki. Rooms are very nice. Bar and dining good. Service is superb.

Excellent hotel, prime location in the center of Helsinki. Walking distance to all major city-center sites. Convenient to the train station for those attending events at the convention center. The room was very clean and the service was excellent - friendly and helpful staff. A street level cafe that is perfect for relaxing, drinks, and people-watching. We will stay here again.

Very nice luxury hotel. Staff and rooms are great. Spa was very relaxing. Only reason for a 4 instead of 5 is that noise seemed to travel between rooms too easily.

A fantastic hotel in the heart of Helsinki, Hotel Kamp boasts a regal interior and exterior design. The sheer proportions of the hotel are simply put awesome. Tourist attractions are within walking distance, breakfast options are absolutely amazing, with a vast buffet to choose from. Staff are courteous and helpful. If you can, stay here during your visit to Helsinki, you won't regret it the slightest.response / report this review -
