Modern hotel with good facilities. I stayed in a twin room and found it to be clean and well furnished with a large TV, great shower, and comfortable bed.
Every day the room was replenished with a couple of bottles of water, some coffee, and toiletries. There was a small kettle in the room and space to hang up some shirts but no iron in the room itself (just ask).
The bar and other shared spaces were nicely furnished and good to plan days out in Madrid from - the complimentary drinks that you can have on arrival help.
By foot, the hotel is close to El Retiro but quite far away from the main tourist attractions of Madrid however, Goya metro station is quite convenient to get to the area around Sol.
Would definitely stay here again.response / report this review -

This is a very decent hotel off the tourist beaten path. It is perfect for business stays though. O'Donnell's or Goya's subway stations are almost right next door, very convenient if you want to hit the historic district.
Room was clean and in good shape. Room thermostat was kind of tricky to control though. It looks like one doesn't have much control over the room temperature. At the time (October-November) we stayed there the rooftop terrace was not opened. I will consider coming back here on my next visit to Madrid.response / report this review -

The hotel is very nice! There are many people in the hall in the evening but it’s wonderful! All of guests can find something. There’s a corner for kids with toys and computer games! There are MAC books in the hall! You have a good Internet connection in your own room! This hotel is in the best place of the capital! The most beautiful park Retiro is near it! Especially thanks for reception: they did our living there very comfortable! I’ d like to come back only to you

Excellent hotel stay! The room includes: refrigerator, closet with hangers, clean bathroom with a large mirror and hair dryer, shower with detachable shower head and a nice view. It's also Central located in Madrid and within walking distance to restaurants and various shops! The staff is very accommodating and the hotel food is divinely delicious! Would definitely come back!

the hotel is very nice, big room, rich breakfast, helpful staff.it was a very pleasant stay. butfew things:
no "real" double bed - two beds together with two blankets.
no bathrobes (as promised).
some of the lights didn't work - two standing lamps in the lunge area and on on the shower.
one night the water just stopped while i was in the shower.
and finally, as i mentioned before we came that it was my wife birthday- you promised "a complementary for her and a birthday’s card" - and we didn't get it.response / report this review -

The hotel is big and strangely latest out with odd numbered rooms on one side of the hotel and even numbered rooms on a completely different side (different lift needed). Air con worked well and breakfast was good too.

We have to compliment your reception staff for being efficient, friendly and extremely helpful. This first impression already had a positive on our stay. The lady who upkeep our room was also very outstanding. Our room was always clean and nice. Well done. Keep it up.

Nice hotel. Lacking in facilities e.g. Gym, pool. Breakfast is very good. Service is good. Not the most interesting part of town, more orientated to business guests.

Nice place to stay. The rooms are clean and neat. The staff are very friendly and showed us some awesome places to eat nearby the area. Highly recommended !

Great Hotel with nice rooms. Breakfast is good but not great. It's not far from the local park, so if you like to run/walk, it's a good location.
