Simply Marvelous!

Tucked away in the quite Calle Orfila, in the upscale neighborhood of Almargo in Chamberí, you will find the Relais & Chateaux Hotel Orfila, a XIX Century Luxury Pied à Terre turned Boutique Hotel that is like having your own home in Madrid.

Experience a glimpse of the luxury and decadence Aristocratic Spaniard families enjoyed just some decades ago.

The exquisitely appointed Suite # 11 with various antiques make for a very genuine residential feel.
Service is prompt and cordial, with great attention to detail.

Truly enjoyed the delicious French Toast creation, a wonderful breakfast in a very intimate space.

We simply loved our stay here and would for sure come back on our next visit to Madrid.

We are over the moon, thrilled with our magnificent choice in Madrid. We were greeted with a lovely welcome & the most delicious cappuccino. The room is sophisticated and comfortable. The front desk/concierge staff is perfectly helpful, ultra pleasant & extremely comfortable to speak with! We highly recommend this fabulous hotel.

This hotel was the best I have been. It was the highlight if my trip through Spain.

Great hotel and staff. The neighborhood is a little quiet, which was fine for us. Prado and Puerto Del Sol are 15-20 minute walk.

Loved this hotel! Staff was super helpful and friendly. Food was good and drink selection was good. The bathrooms were a bit small but rooms were large and comfy. We would stay there again.

Perfect in every way. Everything about this hotel was charming from the greeting as you arrive and are helped in with your luggsge to the romantic dinner with especially prepared free pre dinner cocktails overlooking the beautiful courtyard setting.
Room was charming elegant and spacious. Ours was upstairs with windows looking out onto the courtyard below.
Staff is helpful courteous and extraordinarily diligent in seeking to make your stay enjoyable and seem to celebrate with you when they see you are happy.
This is a gem don't miss it.

Great brunch there on a Sunday, Michelin star chef. No benedict eggs though, but that is of course, a choice. However, of you offer locks on a bagel, it would be the obvious couplet. Great foie salad, wonderful gazpacho, good beef tartare, but it could have been colder and perhaps with cornichons and capers, and they don't assemble it at the table. Wonderful choice of freshly squeezed juices. The Sacher cake good, absolutely loved the layer of jam, but the chocolate, apparently luxurious it lacked richness, body, a full taste of cocoa.

It's difficult to find similar locations with the quiet serene ambience that Orfila offers in Central Madrid. Love the presentation of food and tastes great. Service at the restaurant is excellent.

This has to be one of the best hotels I have been at, in terms of service, staff and hospitality. If you visit Madrid.this is the place to stay. Very helpful & they never say "no" or "cannot". Keep up the great work:))

Went there for dinner with a few friends. The place is really nice and the service is good (but not great). Unfortunately, the food was nothing special, not even "above average", which is unacceptable for this price range. And they had almost no vegetarian options.

How rare to find an island of tranquility in the middle of busy Madrid! Very comfortable and well appointed rooms, great and attentive staff. And located on what has to be the shortest street in Madrid, with no reason to be on it if you don't live there. And I don't think anyone lives there.

Short walk to just about everywhere, close to good restaurants and breakfast bars. Really, a great find.
