The hotel is nicely located and it seems that this year not only the hotel but also most of the interior celebrate the 40th anniversary. I felt this deserved some documentation

Lovely lobby area. Rooms dated but bathroom very nice. Room view not good. Pool use is extra. A little disappointed.

Probably I have been lucky since I've been upgraded to a Senior Suite for free, which has been quite an impressive experience. The room was very nice, clean and wide, in an old fashion. There was even a jacuzzi! The beds were very conformable, as well as the bathroom. Breakfast was ok, with a wide choice in particular for the fruits. There is also a nice swimming pool, fitness room and Spa, unfortunately not tested due to lack of time since I was there for travel.

Room is very clean and spacious. Amenities are very good, toiletries provided as well as fresh towels and turn down service daily. Key card has been broken and has not been able to be fixed to let us onto our floor the entire trip so have had to exchange it 4 times so far

Miguel Angel is a very nice hotel but perhaps not a 5 Star. I would rate it a good 4 Star. Location is excellent, right next to a metro station and in a big square. Construction is old but it has been maintained well. Rooms are big and well furnished though the furniture is quite old. A writing chair in our room was in a bad shape and I thought it would break if we used it.
Hotel has a nice gym and swimming pool. Complimentary breakfast is very nice with lot of variety of dishes. Quality of cooking is very nice too.
Rooms service is quite efficient and response of reception is also very good. Overall, a nice hotel where we really enjoyed our stay.

Very nice hotel! My only complaint is the walls are somewhat thin. Aside from that, everything was great.

Terrible old worn out hotel. Enjoy Madrid and stay anywhere else. Rooms are lousy and service is similar. Here are a few pictures of a standard room, reminiscent of bad hotels in the 1960s.

This hotel was decent, clean, good service and most employees understand English which was good for me as my Spanish is miminal. There is a metro station right out the front door which is awesome for getting around Madrid. The neighborhood felt safe with some walkable restaurants and clubs nearby. The rooms remind me of staying at grandma's house and if you get a double room (aka for 2 people) it's 2 double beds pushed together. The best were the firmest I have ever had the displeasure of sleeping on, this was the main negative for me. Has a bar/small restaurant near the lobby and a full restaurant as well. Was there for a meeting and it was an ok place for it.
