Lovely location, If you come out of the Barcelo Bilbao hotel you will see Bilbao river and nice park surrounded, Famous touristic spot Guggenheim Bilbao Museum in the walk-able distance. Very close to city center, metro, tram and bus stations. Friendly staff, Service is good. I don't feel like a four-star due to the size of the rooms and congested bathroom But maintained well. Breakfast is good.

Apparently stayed in a deluxe single room. While the fitout is new, the bed is comfortable, the staff helpful etc. I didn't feel like I was staying in a four star hotel when in the room. The rest of the hotel did. You might be able to get better for the price. I did enjoy the stay though. It's a good location for getting to the old town.

Very smart hotel. Large stylish contemporary bedrooms, great restaurant and friendly staff that can speak English. Centrally placed (10 min walk) to the old centre of Bilbao. Cross the river using the nearby foot bridge and you're another 15 min walk to the Guggenheim. Or catch the tram when you reach the other side of the river it'd you're feeling lazy. Will stay here again.

All rooms we were told are branded superior, but they're far from superior.

Rooms are small and the bathroom and sink is in the actual room, which looks cool, but one flush in the middle of the night and you'd scare the crp out of whoever else is asleep in bed!!

Parking expensive at €27 a day, and no priority pricing for hotel guests.

Breakfast however, amazing choice, quality food and attentive staff.

In terms of location, it's just over 15 minutes walk from old town, but they run a shuttle service which is handy of you manage to get your timing right.

Overall, not bad, but very pricey for what it is.

Location: beautiful placement at Campo Volantín, facing the Nervion river. Rooms: deficient; pillows are nearly empty and there are some craks in the wall. Shower, beds per se and W.C are ok but not spectacular. Service: very attending and polite, solved all of our doubts and offered valuable tourist information.

Very good hotel. Friendly staff. Clean and cozy rooms. Good service. One of the biggest advantages - location: in the center, close to all main places including subway.
Breakfasts and restaurant are excellent.
Only minus was temperature in the room. I was there in January. To warm up you have to switch on air conditioner, but it works only when the card is plugged in. Of course the whole day I was absent and when came back it was quite cold in there. Took long to warm up.
