Very happy overall. Very nice staff, pretty charming room and great location. Comfortable bed, although for a double it seemed a bit small. One issue, as a light sleeper, was the street noise. The room was located on the first floor overlooking a very nice pedestrian side street, however the windows' insulation was extremely poor and made it difficult to sleep throughout the night. If street noise is not a bother, I would highly recommend the hotel to anyone. Some quieter rooms may also be available.

Very nice hotel in the very city center of Bilbao. The room is correct (double bedroom) and th bathroom has power jet shower which is comfortable.
The breakfast is very nice with a lot of choices, but unfortunately the room has few windows.
Price is correct for the quality.

A perfectly placed hotel in the heart of the old city, in easy walking distance of all the main attractions. Breakfasts were very good, if sometimes a bit crowded. Staff were good humoured and very helpful.

Wonderful, eclectic hotel in the Theatre-Quarter. A great base to explore the 'Old Town' with its Pintxos, (Basque, tapas), bars and shops. Plus a ten-twenty minute walk takes you through the main shopping area over the river and beyond to the Guggenheim. We loved the warm reception on arrival, their help at guiding us through the sites to see, and the sympathetic renovation of the interior. Not so keen on the frosted-glass bathroom's lack of privacy- you've got to be comfortable with each other here!, and the shower tries too hard to be a multi-jet masseuse thing. And fails.

We had stayed in the Petit Palace in Madrid where we were really impressed. Therefore as a family we wanted to stay in the one in Bilbao. But we were disappointed by the quality of the breakfast, the general standard of maintenance of the room (505) and despite a space aged looking shower it barely worked. However the staff, particularly on reception, were very helpful.

We booked a double room with a double bed, we were booked into a double but with twin beds pushed together with a large gap, it’s not my idea of a double.
Aa we were on the 5th floor and your breakfast room is directly above and with no sound insulation we were woke very early on Sunday morning with housekeeping preparing breakfast and later what sounded like a heard of Elephant’s when other guests arrived for breakfast not my idea of a birthday lie in!
The TV remote did not work until we requested new batteries and also all but one of the pressure jets on the shower did not function although the wand and overhead functions worked fine.
On a positive side the room was very quiet for the rest of the day and night and complimentary Cava and chocks were a nice touch.
The location is also very good with easy walking to attractions.

Excellent value. Clean, modern great welcome to the room. Large comfortable bed and good shower. Big opening windows with blackout curtains. Near a tram stop and numerous pintxos bars. One minute walk to the river, 5 minutes to the main shopping area, maybe 20 minutes along the river to the Guggenheim.

A well-situated, attractive hotel with incredibly, friendly staff that provided an altogether pleasant stay. However, I had no hot water in my shower for one morning which was rapidly sorted my hotel staff. For compensation, the receptionist then proceeded to give me my paid breakfast and water (from out of the fridge) free of charge, which I thought was a classy act.

Great location in Bilbao. Very friendly, helpful staff and dogs are welcome too! Excellent breakfast choices! Due to central location you can hear some noise from the street, so if you're a light sleeper you should take some ear plugs!

Little to complain about. The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and helpful, very good value.

Our room was on the first floor landing, and was occasionally a bit noisy with people outside. It also overlooked the tram, so the occasional rumble or ringing bell. May be worth being specific if background noise bothers you.

The toilet was separated from the room by a frosted glass partition, and the door didn't 'seal' shut. You couldn't see anything, but there was little privacy. Could be a problem if not sharing with a 'close' friend.

Excellent location for old town, Guggenheim a pleasant 20 minute walk along the river. The train station on your doorstep, the bus stop from the airport is a 15 minute walk, or 15 minute tram from the bus terminus.
