The booking was made for a double room and i was upgraded for free to a superior twin. I have stayed in many other hotels and cannot imagine how this was in any way superior. The size was rather on a small size nor there were anything special to make it stand out. There is no ironing board in the room and you have to call reception to get one in the morning, if you are lucky. The lift did not work for 2 days so being on 5th floor did not help. Breakfast selection was reasonable and have to say staff are very friendly and accommodating.

Kind of old style hotel. Not really sure what they try to be. Quite good location and professional staff. Clean and decent bed in Superior room. Some issues prevent giving 4th star.

Breakfast was pretty simple. Only two options each, e.g. cheese, ham, cereal, bread. No dessert. In room air con remote batteries had died, shower knob was impossible to use (too hot or too cold), no plastic cups, TV had only two Finnish channels and none from UK. Minibar price list was missing.

Rooms weren't ready for our party when we got there but they did their very best to accommodate us. We are regulars there and it was the very first time any kind of miscommunication has occurred in the last several years.

Very nice staff. Didn't like the first room they gave me, but they we're quick to give me an upgrade to a much nicer room for not much upcharge. Facility is well kept. Rooms are well finished, bathroom was modern upgrade construction and finished. A large good selection for their breakfast. A good location in the old Town.

Really enjoyed my stay here. Can't pick any faults and the hotel restaurant food is superb. WiFi connectivity is great, rooms spotless, great location, everyone is polite and welcoming. Buffet breakfast has a good choice for everyone.

One of the most important things, that you can have for free, doesn't matter the number of stars, is a smiling people, a MUST for people that choose to work in the hotel field.

Good location for exploring Tallinn. We had a lovely, well-kept room with a very comfortable bed.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast was delicious.
We stayed on the second floor (first floor if you are from the UK) with the windows facing out to the fountain and Club Hollywood, so the views were nice but there were some noises heard during the night even with the windows closed, but not enough to bother us.
Shower pressure was quite low and it was sometimes hard to control the temperature of the shower water.
The negatives aside, we had a great time at My City Hotel and hope to return in the future.

at the desk they promise extra service for a bit higher price, including some extra things in the room. But they were missing! And when asking for it, more money???? We already paid for it! And for a bottle of normal bottled water 5 E??? The place was nice and clean and close to everythingbut still, that "something" is missing from this hotel.
