Interesting underground hotel. Bland breakfast, no toaster for bread. The smell of cellar is everywhere, since you are literally underground

Conveniently located. Clean. Charming. Staff speaks English. Most rooms involve negotiating many flights of steps including a spiral staircase very difficult with large, heavy luggage. Not sure if exiting is possible given a fire event. Maintenance is not a priority. Stayed in same room twice and simple repair was not performed.

Fair. Rooms have carpet and look a bit old but it is clean and staff is helpful. The hotel is well located and has a restaurant.

Rooms vary alot. Some rooms are much better than others. Ok place to stay but if it is very hot summer day/night and you want nice air conditioned hotel, perhaps this is not place for you.

Very small hotel, most of the rooms are underground. Many without windows or windows that open onto the hall. All but 5 of rooms are accessible only via a very tight spiral staircase. Ours was a very long walk from the front door, which turned into not wanting to return to the room for a rest while exploring Old Town. The bathroom had no shower curtain or door so the entire floor was soaked. The bed was bouncy and the pillows very small and lumpy.
The person at the reception desk was very unwelcoming and disinterested. Did not even look up when we returned to retrieve our bags, so anyone could have walked in and taken them.

Worst experience in years.
There were no soup in bathroom
There was only one not completely working remote for 2 TVs
Additional bed for kids was dangerous and bed to sleep on. We torn out trousers by just sitting on it

So conclusion: don't go for family offers in this hotel

Very pretty small hotel with medeviel styled situated in Old Town. Walking distance to many attractions.The room is decorated nicely. Bed is comfortable and I had a nice sleep. Breakfast with enough choices. Love the hotel.😃

We had the family room and it was great. I don't know if it's the only one but ours had two bedrooms, one with a 120 cm bed and one with a king size (180cm) bed. It also had a lounge and shower & separate shower. Breakfast was ok. Lady in reception could have been a bit more hospitable. All in all great stay!!

Great staff and affordable price, atmospheric interior and terrific view, breakfast included and good of quality. Keep in mind that there's no parking, 15-minutes stop is allowed, the fine for longer stay is 31 euro. Place is historic, that's why it doesn't have an elevator and has a lot of ladder-like stairs. Anyway, staff is helpful provides assistance with bags. There's no kettle in the room, but receptionist will gladly provide you with boiling water if you need it. Dogs are allowed for additional fee.

Most disgusting hotel I have ever been, unfriendly reception, that makes you feel unwelcome in the first 5 seconds of contact, with passive aggressive attitude, but even worse than reception was the room that I was given, for some reason I was given twin room, although I was alone and not double bedroom, room was terrible not necessarily because it was small, outdated and worn out, even not because it wasn't particularly clean, or not even that you have to walk a labyrinth to get to it, that would be somewhat ok with me, but I was given one of the worst rooms in the place, right next to the loud air vent, since the rooms are in basement , there is some sort of ventilation, which is loud, constant buzzing, loud buzzing, I HARDLY GOT ANY SLEEP, even ear plugs and pillows did not cancel the noise, room had a window in the basement on the HALLWAY with curtains, that even did not cover the whole length of the window, so every time a person walked in the hallway it was visible what I was doing in my 3 star hotel room, NO PRIVACY, the outside door has glass and the light from hallway is shining directly in, whole night, air in the room is stuffy and you cannot leave the window open to the hallway because of the loud vent, in addition someone was smoking in the basement so all you could smell in your sleepless night was cigarette smoke, breakfast - no seats available, rooms was full so had to wait to eat breakfast. WORST HOTEL ROOM I HAVE EVER BEEN and WORST RECEPTION I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED, never again, you can only hope you will not get this room or the receptionist, but it is a lottery, If I could rate this place lower, I would. That room should never be let and half of the staff should be fired. Horrendous place

Really great. Cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired if one looks for dust, but towels and sheets were very clean. Good Estonian breakfast. Very central in old city. Restaurant had very well cooked food at a great price. Staff were very polite and helpful, something one is not used to in former Soviet-block countries. Over-all 4 stars, but would have given 5 if floors were cleaned better.
