Nice placeconfortable clean and super well located just next to everythingand the food in there restaurant taste like home food and is not expensive at all.

There are two Eruption Hotels. Difficult to differentiate. Rooms small. Furnishings dated and uncomfortable for people taller than six feet. Fixtures in need of repair and or replacement.

The people who run this hostel are what make it great. Accommodation is basic but sufficient and the restaurant is affordable and delicious.

Outstanding hostel, staff are so friendly and helpful, rooms are great with super comfy beds :) Great views from the central park, kitchen is very well equipped, both food and utensil wise. I will most definitely be back

First things first the food at the hostel restaurant is amazing, especially for the price. Had a pepper steak with mushroom sauce that blew our minds.
Hostel Erupcion is right downtown in a great spot that is easy to get to from the bus station. It's right around the corner from the bars and many activities. The atmosphere in common area and patio are very chill and we met a lot of fellow travelers hanging out in the hostel.
The only downfall was that construction started every morning at 7am. We would also recommend going out and booking your own tours in town rather than through the hostel. They charge a little commission, which isn't a big deal, but when we tried to book a bus tour the person at the desk failed to make the reservation and we ended up just going down the street to the tour company and setting it up with them.
Overall, great place to stay. Had tons of fun. Definitely recommend.response / report this review
