Friendly staff excellent food bar drinks amazing. Guest services bend over backwards to make everything perfect. Love this place.

This place is not nearly as nice as it seams. The food is okay but at times it is inedible. The beach lacks a life guard and the water sports are under safe. There was glass bottles served by the pool and at night it was packed with drunks who can be loud. If we had paid full price for this I would have been so upset so I am glad we got a last minute deal on it. If you are looking for a tropical get away look somewhere else. It's not that it's bad, it's just everything thing seamed half assed or done to a bear minimum just so that it wouldn't completely fall apart.

First experience in an adult resort, I loved it. The staff was amazing and the food was great had a nice variety of appetizing food. The entertainment needs a little work but doable. Great getaway😘

This is a great resort. We have had a wonderful time here. No kids was a plus. A short walk or cart ride to the beach. Really good food too! No problems getting a lounge chair at either locations. The whole resort has been redone.
I can't say enough about how clean this resort is. The public washrooms are always really clean. Staff are friendly with some still struggling with English. But that happens everywhere. Sign language is helpful.
Rooms are large and all are redone.
We will definitely be coming again. P.s. golf prices are too high.response / report this review -

Excellent place to visit and just relax if that's what you want to do. There are many different excursions to choose from as well. The hotel service is exceptional!!! The staff is professional, personal, friendly and knowledgeable. Go-See-Do!

Great beach, not too crowded and nice soft sand. Good reef to break the waves so surf is very swimable. Usual interruptions from vendors but the same is true for all DR beaches.

Even for the rainy season still great weather to me. It rains for a few mins at a time. I believe this resort is now called VH atmosphere . It's just a fixed up older resort. Small and clean. Food is okay. Def a budget kind of place.

Staff, food and room were all excellent. I only have 2 complaints. First is there is no quiet place to sit and have a drink. The bar in the evening is the pool bar and every night there is entertainment right there. It was very loud. The second is that there are no washrooms near the lobby. once again, they are near the pool and pool bar. Aside from that, we had a lovely week there.

The resort complex is very well gated and protected for the tourists. Nice to go for a walk. Nothing much to do inside except your resort.

This isn't really a resort it's just sort of a neighborhood. But it's very nice, there are road checks to make sure only the people that belong in there are allowed in.

Nice and quiet white sand beach at Puerto Plata. A lovely place to enjoy a beach day in the summer.

It's clean and the water is very calm. My 4 year old daughter loved the place. She can play and hunt for the few sea shell that you can still find.

We stayed at Gran Ventana Beach.. Penthouse Appt. Room was clean and well maintained. Whichever contractor who replaced the window units needs a good talking to!! The place is looking a little tired however.

This beach was a pleasant suprise!!! Water was beautiful some days there was a lot seaweed and debris but some days it was beautiful. Not so great for young kids as the water drops deep quickly but some other areas of the beach at other resorts the ocean is more gradual and I actually was able to find a few spots to actually see beautiful fish!!
