Lugar inolvidable
Milet was an amazing host for our family. She drove in to Imbert to guide us into her property, drove us to Damajaqua and got us a great price on doing the falls (only $8 for 12 waterfalls!), and cooked some amazing food for us while there. She really knows how to make people feel like home in this B&B setting. Her team of landscapers, cooks, and help were very nice and made us feel at home. We sat around for many hours after finishing dinner talking about politics, the world, etc.
We recommend staying with her if coming up to do the falls and you want to stay overnight and be close. The tours from Puerto Plata were much more expensive. The falls were an amazing attraction, and the hilight of our trip up to the north end of the country.
Milet runs this darling ranch which feels more like an oasis. Beautifully decorated, this little bed and breakfast is a gem in the jungle. The service and company is incredible and she goes out of her way to make you and your family feel right at home. It is a little adventure away from the bustle of the beach towns. We are so glad we came to stay. Our kids wanted to take the baby donkey who lives here home with them. It's a little hard to find, and slightly harder to get to, but once here the rainforest canopy and gardens will make it so you never want to leave.
