My husband and I went to Puerto Plata for our honey moon. We visit Country World Adventure Park as part of a whole day excursion we've purchased. We had a great time. A truck picked ups up at around 9am and took us to the ranch. There we went ziplining, horse back riding and pet the animals in the small garden/zoo they have on site. The zip lining experience was great, instructions were clear and the equipment is great. Dany explained everything before hand and answered all our questions. We finished our day with a nice traditional Dominican Lunch. The food was great!. At the end of our stay at the ranch, Joel and Edwin or (Edward) I can't recall his name took was to the water falls. I've been to the water falls before but they are worth going back again!. Joel and Edwin took care of our personal things while we enjoyed the last part of the excursion. Since my husband and I were the last couple to be taken back to their hotel, we asked the guys if they could tell us where we could buy razors. My husband wanted to shave and we had forgotten to bring at least one. They not only told us where, but took us themselve. While there I took advantaged of the opportunity and enjoy 2 ice creams! (1 wasn't enough!), my husband stopped to eat food from a food truck and last but not least they help me get passion fruit. I loooove passion fruit, and the fact they went out of their way to get me some was awesome. After the little detour they took us back to our hotel in time for dinner. The whole experience was great! We both will definitely be back when we visit Puerto Plata again, and we highly recomend it.
