Luxury and excellent service still dominate on our second trip there!
The room was very nice and clean with everything working. We had an all inclusive package and every bite of food was great, full of lush tropical fruits very expensive to get in Philly and the drinks were also awesome making our money well spent.
Their direct access to the beach and multiple pools with poolside activities made staying on the site the whole vacation very tempting. Overall we had an awesome time at an awesome hotel. The Playa Dorado complex is nice and has everything you need in one place you never have to leave the complex. There are banks, a movie theater, a nightclub, multiple gift shops, a play zone for the children, golf course, access to the other parts of the beaches and facilities on site as well.. one stop vacation :-)
Tiny caveats: The in-room wifi, while available, fast and not really expensive (but free in the lobbies) only covered 1 device at a time but how much email do you really want to get to on vacation? The beach is public and as part of the Playa Dorado hotels complex, there are vendors who comb the beach selling an assortment of local goods. A minor annoyance all things considered but if you aren't into saying no more than once a day it can get to you.
Nothing above is in any way a deal breaker. GO!!!!!!! You will enjoy immensely!
Room Tip: Rooms beach side have the best views and are shielded from the festivities (noise) from the nightly poolside party.response / report this review -
