I loved it. Quality and style are combined with a friendly and highly educated trained staff. The service and food are amazing in all of you restaurants.

It is brilliant, we been here for 5 days so far and everything is great. The weather is good and the food is brill, the staff are very friendly and go out of there way to help you. The complex is massive with so much to do, it caters for all age groups young and old and in between. Will give further updates when been here longer.

Fabulous service, amazing people, and a gorgeous pool and beach! They hold events leading into breakfast asking for 5 star reviews which was a bit off-putting and inflates these ratings immensely. My only complaint was the hard creaky bed and some of the food was mediocre. Housekeeping was just okay, often arriving after we we're back from the pool for the day which was a bit of an inconvenience.

I just returned home from the most amazing holiday I have ever had. Amber Green was amazing and the employees made it more amazing. Emanuel (an awesome Butler) the whole animation team (so amazing and fun) Andres (porter), all the servers and even the grounds crew. too many to mention. Everyone was so upbeat and helpful. It appeared they all loved working here. The Buffets and food were amazing. I don’t want to vacation anywhere else and am going to book another vacation here in September if they have openings.

Our second time at this beautiful resort. Such an amazing experience and the wonderful staff and facilities are what bring us back. Special shoutout to Johnny Bravo who really goes above and beyond to make sure that all the guests are having an amazing experience. Excellente!

Beautiful stretch of beach, albeit crowded. No problem getting lounge chairs at beach or pool if you arrive by 8:30-9. Excellent food and drinks, with the exception of the beach bar slushie drinks - they tasted like soap. We had a few issues with front desk staff, and communication needs improvement in this area. They seem to have difficulty working as a team, resulting in poor relations between staff members and guests.

We’ve been to the Bahia in Punta Cana over six times and stayed at different parts of the resort.
My wife booked a trip for us for my birthday present, she told the resort it was my birthday, but she got nothing but a smile. What got her upset is that as you walk through the hall, you see all the other people on the resort that had a special occasion (birthdays anniversaries weddings) had some balloons, and banner covering the front door or even a bottle of champagne she was even willing to pay for this if it was extra. She told the resort about this occasion 3 difference times ! And nothing!
Our room service was terrible also and we always left a five dollar tip every day, hoping for a little something, like a towel folded like a swan, nothing crazy, but got nothing ! When we have stayed in the different areas we always had something when we came back to the room. My wife always looked forward to see what the maid would do. There was always something, like a drawn bath and rose petals or the towels folded in different. This time nothing! My wife thought maybe things have changed and the maids dont do this; but after speaking to other people on the resort, it seemed to be only our maid.
Also our room #82316 overlooked the garbage from the other resort, we could not use the balcony at all. Our first day there we asked to be switched to a different room, but nothing was able to be done till our 3rd day just as we were going for dinner, so we declined or else we would have been late for our dinner that we reserved.
We thought that being loyal, return guests, that it would mean something. My wife and I are thinking of not going back again or could this just be a one off?response / report this review -

Best way to spend Christmas! The pool and entertainment staff kept the guests happy and made each day feel like a party. Can't wait to travel to more Bahia Principes. Special shootout to Louis, Johnny B, and the whole crew that made sure you were always happy :)

Excellent food with lots of restaurant choices. We went in December two months after two strong hurricanes past close by, so the beaches were not as pristine as I expected. Hotel management personnel is sub-par. Grounds need some repair. Very good choices for day-time and night-time activities.

Very nice place. Under a bit of construction outside our room but we asked to be moved and they gave us a new room poolside. The pool areas are beautiful and so much fun! Food at the buffet is AMAZING!!
Everyone is very nice and we are enjoying our 1st vacation in over 23 years!
Just wish there was a little more to do at night. But we will definitely come back.
Hopefully it doesn't take us another 23 years though.response / report this review -

Highly recommend Bahia Principe Ambar Green! Claudia - our concierge- is great in dealing with questions and issues. Staff are welcomg and attentive in making sure you are having a great time. Food at the buffets is diverse and tasty. This is our second time and we love it !

This is a great hotel! Great Beach! Many beautiful pools. The bars are well stocked and bartenders are very well prepared. The food is to die for! Entertainment needs to be improved it was lacking

I loved it. If you walk down the beach you can see how much more popular it is than the nearby resorts, so if you like people, this is the perfect resort. The rooms and grounds were in great shape. The downside is the lack of English speaking workers, so there can be miscommunication.

Definitely worth the money! The rooms are beautiful, however the construction style differs from American building standards. The views are some of the best on the island in my opinion.
Staff and workers all say hello and are very preceptive of your language preference.
The main lobby takes you back when you first enter. The bar and front desk is beautiful, the openness of the lobby allows a lot of the outdoors in.
Very friendly staff, drink servers always there when you need them.
The views are beautiful, whether pool side or garden side. Property is well maintained, rooms are large and offer many amenities including free mini bar.
The only thing is ice in not readily available, so having to call to have a bucket filled and be a waiting game, but a small inconvenience for all that is available around you.response / report this review -

The grounds were beautiful but the service lacked. I was there 3 nights, had clean room sign out, room was never cleaned, bath tub had dirty foot prints in it.
Also was locked out because the battery on the door key died, took 3 hours to get into room, had to stay and wait for the guy to show up, missed dinner because of this and I was I. Tank top so was not allowed In Restaurant.
Mini bar was empty requested water and Pepsi never came. Will never return hereresponse / report this review -

My husband and I stayed here during the week of April 3rd - April 7th. Just as other reviewers stated the grounds are beautiful, because they always have workers maintaining them. However, they need to have those workers cleaning the rooms. As far as butler service that is a joke, we did not see a butler. They should take that portion off of the website as an incentive or service. They need to close that side of the resort that faces the construction, that is inconsiderate to the customers who have paid that kind of money and have to listen to construction until 11:00pm. The service people in the lobby are no help at all, most of them do not speak English and do not understand the basic information that you are asking them. It took us two days to get an iron because no one at the front desk could understand what we were saying. On the other hand the bartenders and the waitresses or waiters at all of the pool and indoor bars were very nice and efficient when it came to service. The entertainment was good it gave you something to do beside sit in your room. The beach was nice. Our minibar was stocked everyday. We did get reservations to restaurants of our choice. All is all we had a good time but there are plenty of ways and areas that they need to improve so that guest will have a wonderful or great time.

Had an amazing honeymoon here. Had a few bumps here and there but all in all it was great. Definitely coming back and staying at the Bahia Principe chain. Can you say AYCE lobster?!
