Amazing place for families. This resort knows what it’s like for families with small children to travel. They have a juggler in the lobby to occupy the kids during check in. Rooms are big enough to accommodate 2 double beds, a sofa bed, a cot and a crib with enough room to park a double stroller and still be able to walk around. Evening entertainment is amazing for the kids. They have a Lion King show, a princess show, a magic show, Michael jackson show. The castle light show every night at 10 is also very good. Lots of kid friendly choices at the restaurants.

    Spent 10 days
Pros: beautiful kid oriented Hotel with great pool and water Park.
Cons: Service is awful staff doesn't seem to care too much or don't have enough experience for the most part not everyone, we always tipped regardless but sometimes it felt they didn't deserve.
food is not good doesn't feel fresh bar and circus buffet where the sandwiches and hotdogs looked old and dry.
(the 3 of us got awfully seek for 4 days and still felling seek if you don't have insurance they will charge $160. At the hotel's doctors room just to evaluate you they won't prescribe a. If you need to go to emergency $270. Just to walk in.)

First day the pillow were stained with blood and yellow color and perfumed smell
I'm tire of writing but there is still more to be told
This Hotel is not ready for you yet it has the potential to be better because is really beautiful

This resort has its market and I can see how it’s rated as a 5-Star but it’s not my style. Plenty of circus performers and very flashy entertainment. The big castle in the middle of the pool acts as an entertainment hub in the evening. Catered events pool-side definitely aim to impress with food and beverage presentation that one would find on Pinterest or Instagram. The rooms are well-appointed and well-lit.

We had a great time at this resort. Very family friendly, with a water park on the premisis. There were good food options for the whole family and the staff were helpful and friendly for the most part. The beach was a short walk away, and the resort has a reserved section of seats on the sand. Downside was a nightly sound and light show that was very loud - couldn't escape it.

Can't say enough good things about Fantasia. The service was impeccable. The staff were always smiling and willing to help with anything.
The food was beyond amazing. The buffet at breakfast had caviar EVERYDAY! The A la carte restaurants were fantastic (particularly Le Gourmand).
Lastly, the resort is just beautiful. Oh, and dis I mention no bugs? Not 1 mosquito the whole time!!!

Beautiful hotel, excellent friendly service, very good food and the best of drinks. Beach one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean and drinks served to you at the beach. The beach restaurant was excellent. Transportation within the complex was excellent. Strongly recommend the Fantasy hotel higher quality alcohol and food. One of the best features of the Dominican Republic is the people. Always smiling and always willing to help.

The best resort I’ve ever been to! Magnificent shows, great food, excellent service! The territory is so huge you would need over a week to explore! Never felt bored or disappointed. Def coming back. Great place to vacation with your parents and kids! 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I was there last week with my husband and 2 young kids. The hotel absolutely designed for kids and majority of entertainments are interesting for kids. Foods were taste less and lack of variety. I found a piece of glass in jam and informed supervisors/managers who just asked for my room number and then nothing. Had bath beetle in the room and hallways. Generally despite a good place for kids to have fun, I won't back there again.

DO NOT THINK TWICE. THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST IN PUNTA CANA. If you have kids you will love the resort. It provides never-ending activities and entertainment for kids. They have the best staff, always smiling and ready to help,no matter what their respective jobs are. It's money well spent to stay at this resort. For dinner you get to choose your restaurant from all their 7 resorts. The food is breathtaking. You will have an amazing experience and will leave with a smile and happy kids.

I went to Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia in September and my vacation was cut short due to Hurricane Maria. My three days there truly did feel like paradise. The lobby was very modern looking in comparison to the other resorts but it certainly was not as lively. Having access to all of the other resorts within the Gran Bahia Principe via trolley helped with some evening entertainment.

Like most all inclusive resorts, the food does tend to get repetitive but having access to all the restaurants within the Gran Bahia provided a lot of a la carte options depending on what cuisine you were craving. Also, staying at the luxury resorts you are able to order room service for any late night eats which was a nice perk.

The rooms continued the modern feel and were quite spacious. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but it did the job. My room has a great view of the pool and was directly in front of the castle.

The grounds and pools were immaculately kept. This resort is suited more to children and had a Disney feel to it.

If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing vacation with your partner or family I would definitely suggest this resort!

Fantasia is the newest addition to Bahia collection. Its all inclusive . Very beautiful place with great staff. Worth every penny.
There are shows every night . You can download their app Bahia Principe to keep track of shows and programs offered here.
As a fantasia guest you have access to other Bahia resorts but others dont. So you have more to enjoy.

We found this place absolutely amazing, having stayed in St Lucia, Jamaica, Antigua, and Mexico previously out exceptions was high and I can say they were totally exceeded by Fantasia.

The hotel itself is relatively new and still looks and feels fresh, the food and drink was great, but what set this holiday apart was the hotel staff and their attentiveness and willingness to chat and generally help in any way they could.

The beach is a bit of a walk from the Fantasia, but there are one or two bars along the way that make the walk in the sun a bit more bearable.
The Italian restaurant is fanatic and well worth a visit and the normal buffet restaurants offer a good variety too with a different theme each night.

The Nightly entertainment is great; the Michael Jackson and Lion King shows are a must.

The free wifi is only fast enough to pick up email and send the odd snap chat which was perfect as we got to interact with out teenage daughter for the first time in ages :-).

Each person has their own expectations and ours were more then exceeded during our stay.

As an all inclusive resort for the family the Fantasia is pretty good. Whilst he hotel is still fairly new you can see they are still trying to iron out some of the wrinkles which means it can only get better. On the whole the staff are friendly and the food is good in all the restaurants we are in. The evening entertainment is also pretty good and far better than some of the resorts I have been to in Europe. A little more shade over part of the pool would be good, the aircon in the room can be a little hit and miss and beware of the vendors in the shopping village, they are not part of the resort (which we didn't know) and they over charged us and we had no course of redress through the hotel.

On the whole a great resort for families but beware it does get hot so bring plenty of sun cream.

The outward appearance is great however it is greatly marred with unsanitary conditions in all pool washrooms. Not one staff member agreed to help correct this and was left every day as this. There are no janitorial members that comb the grounds for left over foods, plates, or utensils. They only care if their logo is stamped into the sand ashtrays. Now if this is truly a "kids" resort why try and promote smoking at every avenue? Now paying a great premium to stay at this newly opened section of Bahia Principe Fantasia, one would expect the quality of the food to be of upright splendor. What we were met up with, was in the section of Amber medical clinic with the diagnosis of food poisoning. Not just us but eight other people throwing up next to us including a staff member. The issue was, being comforted with a $400 bill for diagnostics and a intramuscular injection. Plus another $223 for additional medications required. Simply unacceptable. We will not be returning to this complex and will be informing as many potential travellers to think otherwise.

We had a great time. Facilities are excellent, well thought out, clean. Bright environment, even patio was beautifully decorated. Staff are always helpful and friendly, able to communicate in English and French, or at least they try. Kids club is great too. The pools are nicely designed with plenty of umbrellas, chairs and cabanas. The kids do not want to leave.

Nice resort, just wish I didn't get my flip flops stolen on the first day. Good food, 24/7 room service. Had room issues that were resolved, good customer service and nice pools and bartenders were awesome. Also be weary of the balcony as you can easily be trapped for hours.

The hotel property is beautiful and meticulously maintained however the service at the buffet was mediocre at best. The maid service is also fantastic. The kids pool is lots of fun for the kids.

Thank you so much for our warm reception and your gracious hospitality on our recent vacation to Luxury Bahia Principe Fantasia. Without your staffs constant attention to detail, we would not have enjoyed ourselves nearly so much.
Great friendly service by the entire staff; from the kids club to the teens club. Very family oriented driven resort. There was activities for the children. Unbelievable how clean the resort is considering the amount of small children here.
I wanted to express my appreciation for the superior service I received during my stay. In particular, Abesaid, Jose, Jonathon and Fior were very helpful and deserve a great deal of praise for their excellent customer service. Please express our appreciation to them.

Very nice resort but i expected more from a five star. A la carte Restaurants are all fully booked (reserve your spot before arriving) buffet food is ok but after 7 days of the same thing not so much. Great resort for the kids.

As most have mentioned the grounds and room were very nice however the worst service I be every had at a resort. No welcome cocktails rude front desk and reservations staff for restaurants. They clearly do not give a good about anything or anyone just her to collect a check. No designates smoking areas. Thos is clearly a resort of families ppl just lighting up everywhere is not cool. I have been waiting over 4 hours for a blanket (Yes I'm still here still waiting) and of course the front desk had the nerve to tell me after my 3rd call that they have gotten busy with calls for blankets in the past 45 minutes. Again I called at 7:05pm before I left for dinner it is now 12:13am still waiting..
