Third visit. Amazing property, staff, rooms, beach, pool, entertainment. I will not go anywhere else in Punta Cana. ***update 2018 I have travelled here annually for five years and I love this place. This resort offers relaxation and entertainment so whatever you are in the mood for, they deliver! The animation team is the true gem of the experience. They work hard to bring humor, games and my favorite, dancing every day. They are an amazing group and are an important part of this resort!

Incredible experience, giant resort hotel, with cozy rooms, 8 restaurants, 2 swimming pools, Casino, DiscoClub, a lot of bars and of course the Caribbean Sea and it's majesty All the staff, always kind and focused to keep you in the best mood. Totally recommended. Payments and tips are preferred in US Dollars.

Customer service could be better say the least. The receptionist wasn't nice nor friendly. Everything was a hustle and an attitude. Food was good. Rooms are ok. There are much nicer places around in my experience.

Stayed here for Easter vacation 2018. Our stay was comfortable. The service was excellent and hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel was nice but could use some maintenance. Our room was clean and comfortable but again could use some maintenance. Food at the buffet was really good. My wife and I dined at the Gourmet restaurant and thought the food was very bland. Drinks are your typical sugary "all inclusive" drinks!

My family of 9 and I stayed here for 6 days and overall had a very good experience.
The service was very good, the staff were friendly and responsive to our needs.
The food was pretty good, there were a few things that I thought could have been better (desserts) but overall it was fine.
We ate at a couple different buffets and had reservations to 4 specialty restaurants, one of which had poor service , but it did not ruin our overall experience.
Our room was well furnished and comfortable. The air conditioning kept it cool and dry the duration of our stay.
The TV didn't work well but to us that was really not an issue as we didn't care to use it much anyways.
The swimming pool was great.
The pool itself was very large and was comfortable. The water was warm and inviting. There was plenty of shade provided nearby and refreshments to help cool off with.
The ocean was the most amazing part, and again, plenty of shade provided with comfortable lounging.
If you are thinking of coming here I would recommend it.

Great all inclusive hotel. The food was good and had different options to eat. Friendly staff that is bilingual. They also have different restaurants to try out. The night life in this location feels like a club. They have everything you need in one place. Give it a try.

The food at the buffet restaurants had very little variety day to day. The kids club was not as advertised and was a glorified babysitter.
The room smelled of raw sewerage daily. The pool was clean and huge. The beach was nice. The specialty restaurants were decent, we went to the Asian, steak house, and the formal fancy restaurant. The portions could have been larger. The in room WI-FI was intermittent at best. I can't say enough about the staff. From the greens keepers, to the security guards, cabana waiters and waitresses, bar tenders, housekeepers, front desk people. They were all great.

The experience was awesome.
The restaurants that you have to make reservations at were just ok. That's why I have it a 4 instead of a 5.
The buffets we amazing, the servers were amazing..
I would come back.

Do NOT EAT ANY SEAFOOD OR ANYTHING RAW. I went here for a week and on the second night i ate at the seafood restaurant and was VIOLENTLY ill. I'll spare the gruesome details but it was not pretty. My family and I tried to talk to management but they did not care or do anything to make the trip better. The rest of the vacation was stressful because we had no idea what other food was bad and would make us sick.

We spent 4 glorious nights at this beautiful location! The Punta Cana is the oldest of the 4 hotels owned by Iberostar on this beach. The hotel is somewhat dated, though it was good to see that renovations were taking place. The staff was fantastic. We would definitely return.

Its a nice resort. Food and drinks are nice (not great), and you get tired of it in about 3 days. Weekends are disastrous as locals come in great numbers and are not polite, leave food everywhere, the pool becomes greasy and dirty, and you can not leave your stuff unsupervised for even a minute.

Food made us ill, entertainment is terrible and out of tune. Pool is dirty and not cleaned in 4 days. If you don't speak Spanish don't waste your time even trying to explain anything or get things fixed, you get blank looks or told "ok we send someone" that never comes Just all around horrible time, only good thing I can say is the waiters and bar staff are pretty good and attentive.

My family and I (family of four) came her for a nice relaxing vacation. My brother is 11 which means he gets a small bed and I get my own (no bunks). They told us they were going to get us a family room (a room with two rooms separate for parents and kids). When we came, we ate and then went to our room with no help or proper guidance. Good thing I saw something and went in. We same to our room and we see two full beds and a twin bed squished together. We complained and they never called back.

We went to Iberostar Punta Cana for a family vacation. This is my 3rd time in Dominican Republic and this was by far the worst experience I have had there or anywhere else in the Caribbean. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.
The resort needs major updates. We had 3 rooms total and 2 out of the 3 rooms had mold; so much you could smell it and see it as soon as we entered the room. The rooms were not cleaned, I called everyday to request the room to be cleaned and to have towels, a few days more than once because they didn't bring towels. The food selection was very poor and the same every day for every meal. The staff were not helpful. For breakfast, lunch, or dinner they only brought water. Did not ask or bring anything else, whether it was coffee or juice for the kids. We set up our own tables for 9 people and they watched instead of helping. It was completely self service.
This is the first review I have ever written about any vacation or place I have visited and that says enough for me. I will be sure to read reviews in the future before a trip is booked.

This is a nice spot to go, but their 4 star resort is really a 3 star. Decent food and some activities going on, but most of the shows and activities are done in a corny kind of way and doesn't really draw people in to join well in comparison to other resorts I have been to. I love Iberostar resorts and will continue to go to them as they tend to have nice deals for travel vacations.

Great clean hotel with good size pools and a great beach only 20 yards from the pool. Good buffet selections but the restaurants are nothing amazing. Very expensive shops on site and all trips out of the complex start at 100usd. If you enjoy pool / beach holidays then this is for you

I had the mostly fun ever at this resort!! Be careful about the excursion, some of them were terrible but most were good. I will never forget the experience I had there and the staff was amazing! Be careful at the seafood but otherwise the food was great!

Staff was amazing. Leo at the lobby bar is skilled in the art of bartendering. The hotel is the oldest of the four and needs some renovations. Within our room, the bathtub drained slowly, the toilet ran all night and our air conditioning stopped but was quickly fixed by the staff. For selecting the Junior Romantic Suites you would think you might have had an ocean view or be near the ocean or pools. We were the furthest units away from both of those. Finial point to note, if you do the Grand vacation club sales pitch, it's a pretty hard sales pitch to purchase into their vacation ownership club.
