Older property that needs updated. Bed was pretty broken down, no outlets near bedside. Beach and landscape were nice, as were the pools. Food was just okay.

This was the worst vacation of my life. I had to switch rooms (similar to most guests). There was the smell of mildew with visible mold on the walls. The AC didn’t work in the 2nd room. The housekeepers didn’t clean the room one of the days we were there. Limited towels, too many vendors and staff harassing us to make purchases/asking for multiple tips, we got food poisoning (along with other guests), and the rooms were horrible!

Mediocre accommodations in a beautiful setting. The grounds are very pretty teaming with lots of wildlife. The pools are nice and the beach is nice, but the surf is heavy and it's rather crowded. There are also lots of people trying to sell you anything everywhere you turn. The rooms are outdated and really aged. Food is okay at best. Go to the speciality restautants for better meals. The service is hit and miss, but most employees are nice. If you keep your expectations low, this budget place is okay. You get what you pay for.

Food is the same daily and nightly at the buffet, and not very good. Some staff are friendly, most are rude. Restaurants are decent, not great.

The first time we stayed at this resort was 4 years ago, we enjoy the all inclusive simply because I love knowing there will be no surprises in costs. That stay was pleasant however we did have to change rooms 3 times for various reasons but were pretty laid back and we just chalked it up to things happen right? So we decided to return to the same resort, unfortunately this time we were very dissatisfied. Within the first 3 days again had to change rooms! on the 3rd room they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite you would assume this to be an amazing room right? NOT! the only difference was beachfront, room was a little larger and it had a jacuzzi which I certainly wouldn't usethis is a family resort and posted everywhere that being topless is not permitted. Yet their were women sitting pool side toplessnone of the security guards addressed the issue we even witnessed one family moving from their spot because their young child was pointing at one of these ladies. One of the things I really want to praise this resort for is the amazing staff! They were always smiling and helpful we really truely enjoyed each individual we dealt with! Thank you for that!

I have never in my life had as poor of a travel experience as I had at the Caribe Club Princess. The lobby is adorable and authentic, which frankly sets you up for disappointment. They drive you through a swamp to the pool and room area. We moved from a corporate event at another resort, thankfully it was only 2 evenings. The room furniture and decor is extremely dated. The beds are so uncomfortable I am confident they’ve also never been updated. The door didn’t close properly, so you had to slam it each and every time you entered or exited. Clearly the pictures on their website are inaccurate. The swim up bar at one of the pools was covered with caution tape and tarps, which wasn’t explained to us. The all inclusive package is laughable, virtually nothing is included. Don’t forget to book your ala carte’s by 8:45 am or you won’t get into any of the restaurants which they don’t tell you at check in. Instead you will be welcomed to the dreadful buffet, that’s never actually open when you’re hungry. The food was absolutely atrocious, and not fresh. The “snack bar” was full of old and dry French fries, hard buns and questionable beef burgers. The drinks are subpar, drink the beer or the blended drinks. Ration your bottle water because they won’t give you more. What was enjoyable about the resort? One of the pools; it was where we spent our entire day. The coffee house and crepe bar was great! Probably the only other thing I enjoyed. Our mini bar of water and soda has previously drank bottles in it which was disgusting. The bugs are AWFUL. If you do choose to stay here bring 20 gallons of deet. The staff is rude, and have next to no communication. We were locked out of room (from the battery box dying) for over thirty minutes. The maid told us she was getting us help but didn’t, and then the security was so rude and wasn’t going to let us in. I wouldn’t refer my worst enemy to this place.

So you get what you pay for. Staff is supper nice, drinks, bar, and pool are nice. Rooms have not been updated since hotel was opened. You have to pay 20.00 a day for room safe. If you want to eat other than buffet book restaurant as soon as you get there or you get to eat buffet :-( every night. Other than that nice place for price.

Very nice hotel with lots of nature, and animals. Awesome scenery. Beach is top, very well located. Huge Pools, bar and restaurants very close. The 24hs bar is right on the beach!
They always have some attractions for the guests by the pool or beach everyday.
The spa is a must. Worth a visit while staying there.
Superior rooms are spacious and very comfortable, no wifi tho.
Food at the buffet was good but not the best, need some improvements.
The restaurants a la carte is a good option if you want to avoid the main restaurant, all included, but reservations are required.
Staff is always very friendly and helpful. I recommend.

Had a great holiday here, a lot of fun. It was never super crowded. All the staff could speak decent English so there was no translation barrier. Would recommend for anyone wanting to go to the Carribbean.

The resort was nice, but it was clearly older. Wish I had taken a few more pics. Chipping/dirty paint in the bathroom. Cracked sink. Scratched tile. Flat pillows. It wasn't anything major. The thermostat only went down so far and it wasn't as cool as we would have liked.

Water pressure was terrible. The shower would shut off while you were in it. We asked for wash clothes and the Spanish crew did not understand. They brought towels. We did not have wash clothes in our room once, maybe thats a commonality in this country, but I'm not sure.

Food was okay. There's a buffet daily and then restaurants you reserve for. The two we reserved for were much better than the buffet.

The beach is beautiful and it has nice pools. Wi-Fi is only available in the reception hall which is about 3/4 of a mile from the rooms. There are shuttles to The reception hall. The Wi-Fi worked about 50% of the time.

We were given a romantic massage with our honeymoon package. The spa was beautiful and the massage was nice.

There were pushy salesman that did not leave us alone while we were there. They were selling memberships to reserve directly with the resort. There were also salesmen that walked the beach to sell purses, bags, cigars, bracelets, ECT. They weren't as pushy.

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The resort worked with us when we arrived a day late from flights. We got to add a night to the end of our trip. Overall, it was a good stay, but definitely not a 5 star.

Included are pictures of our honeymoon suite.

Beautiful hotel, staff was very friendly excepting two women at The Creperie on my second day, the pools were clean, the beach had some garbage in the sand, the room was clean but our remote didn't work and you could see some electrical cabling from one of the outlets because it was missing a piece of cover. The main buffet food was excellent, we could never get reservations later than 8 at the reservations only restaurants. The disco was big and nice, very little typical dominican music played.

I made reservations for my 20 year wedding renewal more than 6 months ago. I have over 20 guest attending from the states for a renewal that I have been unsuccessful planning. Communication to the resort is very poor. I have made many attempts and request for contact and when I finally received a call back from the wedding planner, her English was very poor, she was very rude, not very knowledgeable of the packages offered from the resort and she never followed up with me. I made several request via the email address on the website for a general manager to contact me and no response. Very disappointed that I have many guest that made reservations at this resort not to mention the concern that my trip is less than two months away and the stress and disappointment of my wife and I. We have saved for this trip, and looked forward to doing this for two decades and have nothing planned and cannot receive a phone call from anyone!

My experience was wonderful, staff, food, room, resort, beach, everything
EXCEPT the jewelry store in the lobby. I was overcharged, I hope by mistake, and am not having any luck trying to contact them, either directly or through the hotel. So I will be registering a complaint with
Visa and CardNet I will not let this dis-enchant me, I just will never
buy from this kind of set up again.

NOT quiet and cozy. The loud speakers blaring music all day was the last thing from quiet. A few staff members were friendly and helpful but most were the opposite. Not professional. The security guards yelling at me for accidentally breaking a light globe they charged me $150.00. If I break something I have no problem paying for it but the way I was treated ruined my entire vacation. I did not feel safe with the staff and "security" gaurds. They allowed vendors from the beach to set up stands in the courtyard and they were very pushy, creepy guys. One vendor made inappropriate comments to me every time I walked by. I had to avoid the entire area for a few hours before they left. Taxi drivers and local vendors will rip you off in a heartbeat and take advantage of you. I did however have a pleasant experience with Taxi service "Virtual Dispatch".

It says on the Caribe Club Princess website you are welcomed with a welcome drink, fruit basket and a bottle of rum. I got nothing and was ignored as I walked into the resort. Very limited English speaking. I could never figure out how to make reservations at one of the all inclusive restaurants so I ate at the buffet everyday. I had to get up and ask someone to get me a drink twice. They passed out surveys one night and the staff demanded that I give them a good rating.

The Resort expresses their commitment to being environmentally friendly with signs throughout, but the grounds are littered with trash and plastic cups.

The bartenders drink alcohol while working.

I may return to the DR, but I will never stay at a Princess Hotel or Resort again. I am usually not one to complain and try to say only nice things, but it was indeed that bad.

This was what id call a lovely 3 star plus hotel- all staff were very friendly and made sure all drinks were topped up and we were having a relaxing time. All restaurants were amazing and the creperie was devine. Not much british style food in the main buffet but was good to try differnt food! The Beach and swim up bar pool was probably the best part of the resort however the hotel in general does need alot of updating to bring it into the 21st century and to keep up with competition. Lovely place and cant complain regards to a cheap deal to soak up some winter sun!

This is a one star hotel!!! Upon arrival, the some staff were so rude. had problems with our room they asked us to call our agent. With no service to call, we were asked to go and purchase a sim card but mind you, it was around 10pm in a foreign country. The meals were good and tasty thats about it. The rooms were terrible. Moldy, no stoppers in the sinks, rusted sinks and baths. Wasn't worth what we paid for. When you complain to the staff/ manager they just stare at you. The hotel needs a renovation . The pictures on the website are nothing compared to what you see. I wont recommend this hotel to anyone.

This is a reasonably priced resort, with a wonderful animation crew, a decent selection of a la carte restaurants, along with many pools and a great beach area. The area this resort could improve is the rooms. They are ok, but could use a refresh, mainly the bathrooms and the HVAC units. The resort is very kid friendly with a great little mini disco each night. The later show is decent also - much better than I expected.

I will never forget my first visit to the Caribe Club Princess Resort, I had the best time of my life. My absolute favorite part of the hotel was the entertainment. The dancing was amazing, and the entertainers were very funny. I also want to thank Cesar, July, Mamboola, Juliana, and Cairo for all the laughs and memories we made that I will never forget, and for also making me feel better when I was feeling sick . I also loved the pool, and the beach, they were very relaxing. Most of the employees were very friendly and welcoming, and I will definitely be coming back again soon.
