My cousins and I travelled from Punta Cana to Santo Domingo. The bus ride was horrible. The bus was overly packed and they claim the bus station and bus have WiFi but it does not. The bus station didn’t even have AC.
I do however recommend going an hour or two before your desired time as the tickets quickly sale out. If you wish to leave at 1pm, I recommend being there at 12:30pm, no later or earlier, as the staff doesn’t return from their break until 12:30pm and being there before is pointless.

truthfully it wasnt what I expected, the office in Punta cana was clean and we'll maintain, the cashiers was streamly helpful she allowed me to use the office phone to call home, she even helped me bring my the suitcases in to the bus, I had a good experience, bus ride was smooth and with no drama we made it to my stop on time..

The company from the city it's another thing but when you get to punta Cana and you need to come back to santo domingo it's really stressful, the workers are always pissed off.

Frequently A/C temperature in bus station and buses is too low. Good level of service. They don't speak as well as don't understand English. Spanish only.
