The receptionists was great and helpful at the front desk just my room wasn’t ready till 4 pm there was a gentleman call Kelly there is a real gentleman very helpful every time I needed him for any help like he made reservations for us and was very very helpful. But there was a guy call Abel who try to sell me something like a time share.he bs me all the way but I have been to Punta Cana about 18 times so I know how they do things. He try to tell me that it was not a selling pitch come on mr Abel I was not born yesterday please. I was very please with our made quench lovely lady very helpful also everything else is the same as other hotels costing less money nothing special don’t waste your money go to other hotels not iberostar.

My wife and I just got back from a week long stay here and loved it! This was our first Punta Cana experience and I have to say the overall experience was great!
The hotel was not too big and not a big party place (which we both liked). The food is all amazing and the night shows are a blast. Nelson (one of the hosts at the Italian restaurant) was always helpful and checked on us throughout our stay just to see how we were liking it. The servers are all great and very fast.
There were a few things to be aware of that are NOT a big deal to us. The following things are what you should know that we experienced and want you, the reader, to know.
First, we didn’t have washcloths in our room and kept having to call the front desk to send us some. They would sometimes take all day to bring them to us. Once, a maid stopped by to supposedly give us our washcloths, but brought towels instead. Be sure to ask for a bunch and then save them for the week!
Also, there is an excursion vendor who works for dolphin island called “Lucas wow” who is kind of a shady guy. Keep an eye out for him. He offers a legit service, but isn’t always honest with his answers and can be an aggressive salesman. We booked through the resort and got a good deal on our excursion.
Finally, we didn’t get much of an intro when we got to the resort about what the place offers. We were just handed a pamphlet and basically told to figure out on our own.
If you are interested in doing beach activities, you can apparently use snorkels, masks and use kayaks etc from the dive center on the beach. If you don’t know how to sail and want to rent a catamaran, you have to pay $45 for a lesson and then you can rent one for free. Again, would have been nice to know before we started our week.
Also, the night shows were not exactly family friendly as the dancers were often very scantily clad so parents keep that in mind. My wife and I were grossed out to see several topless women on the beach and they didn’t care that little kids and families were there too.
Other than those minor things, this was an awesome place to stay and would reccomend checking it out as a great all inclusive vacation spot. Thank you Iberostar Bavaro!response / report this review -

Just returned today from this wonderful hotel.
The staff simply can't do enough for you from the moment you arrive to the second you leave.
I had a problem with my ancient kindle that wouldn't connect properly to their Wi-Fi and one of the reception staff let me connect to his own personal hotspot so I could download all my books. Typical of the fantastic service these provide.
Our rooms were spotless.
We've visited Dominican Republic 6 times now and this was the second Iberostar in Dominican and from now on we won't change.

I highly recommend this place to everyone especially a family vacation. The beaches are clean, the food are great with many selection to choose from. You will never get hungry here, the atmosphere is a plus and very friendly environment.

I stayed at the Bavaro Grand. The specialty dining was very good. Grounds, including the beach were immaculate. The staff were friendly and helpful. For activities I did diving while the wife did a boat spa and enjoyed the spa on premise. There is a lot to do or if you choose a great place to lay back and relax.

There is a new faster and safer route coming from the airport to that place! It is called MICHES.Instead of entering all through the town, It takes only 15 or 20 min. total. Just go straight via Miche and soon will be at your right.! Update pls!

I loved this place. I found the staff very willing to accommodate you in very request. Our vacation was most in joy able. Plenty of food choices and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Really Enjoyed this Resort, very clean and well organized, great food with a lot of selection.
Easy to find an umbrella by the pool or by the ocean, always availability, easy to do water sports, plenty of choices. Entertainment was very good as well. The only really annoying thing in this resort were the room cards, kept on going back to get the "fixed" as we get to the room and they don't work.. the reception people say it's because we have them near our cell phones but it's not, even when we keep the cards away from our phones still the problem re-occurs and it's a constant burden getting to the room and not being able to open the door.response / report this review -

Disappointing. Resort is ok, pool is nice and great setup for kids. Rooms are decent and clean. But, the food is pretty bad overall. We found things to eat and didn't get sick, but the sit-down restaurants need a lot of work. Takes 2+ hours to eat, it's not good food and the waiters never ask or bring refills. Buffet is ok and really liked the coffee shop. Most of the employees were nice, but there is a definite language barrier if you speak English. No one could answer questions, except the front desk. Even room service orders were usually wrong. We like vacationing in the Dominican Republic but wouldn't return to Iberostar.

Have a great vacation. Rooms were very nice speech was amazing bring a roll from the buffet into the ocean with you and you can feed the fish right from there it was a fantastic vacation

We stayed at the Iberostar Grand resort in the Dominican republic for a week. We found the entire staff to be very courteous and all about customer service. Our Butler, boom boom was very friendly, speedy and always on his game and had an outstanding personality. If our travels bring us back to Punta Cana the Iberostar Grand will be our choice of resorts !!!

Fun time. Only complaint is that they don't fill their salt and pepper shakers. So, if you are North American and like salt and pepper on bland food, take your own salt and pepper. Besides that one issue, I enjoyed my time there.

Rooms could use some updates but overall the resort is amazing. I didn't spend anytime in the pool because the beach was where we love to be. The beach was clean, the sand was soft and the views are amazing. The beach area can be a bit crowded and finding a seat may take you a few minutes but if you pull your chairs out into the sun and close to the water you will love it.
There was a lot of traffic walking up and down the beach strip from the other resorts in the same location but we didn't mind. Everyone was friendly.
The staff is great. They are friendly and very helpful. Any issues we had they were willing to fix the same day. The buffet restaurants give you many options to choose from we went there every day. There was never a day that I felt like I couldn't find something to eat that I loved. My only issue is that you have to make reservations and you can only go to a certain number of restaurants based on how long you are staying.
This resort is great for someone traveling on a budget but wanting to have a good time. The rooms are clean and spacious with a safe for your belongings. The resort is very family friendly.
The shows on the resort are great. Keeping us entertained every night. We were never bored.response / report this review -

great property, they have there own beach property and so many activities.. we are here from 8/16 to 8/24/2016.. glad I booked here. the casino is tiny.. the Steak house is slow, but amazing food.. the pool is excellent in size and service, they have a kid water park section. really nice set up. the buffet is much better that any speciality resturant.. the daily evening shows are a great form of evening entertainment. the bar near the lobby and show stage is excellent.. Gregorgino is the best bartender, excellent attitude and very friendly, made me evert drink I knew possible. hands down the best service staff.. I'm coming back at this resort asap.. great family friendly resort.. 5 stars plus.
