No air condition, was terrible in july 2017, when the weather was very hot for extended periods of time. Breakfast was also kind of dissappointing, and the staff did a mixup and we were asked to pay for breakfst twice, even though it was included in the booking. Nice interior, though, old fashioned and cool.

Great location, friendly staff, horrible shower stall floor. The shower floor sloped upward toward the back of the shower as if to make a small built-in seat. Very difficult and dangerous to take a shower.

Didn't like the first room (no light right next to the elevator) went down to change it, was given a new room in front of the previous. It looked promising but ended up being dirty with hairs on the bed. Went dowbstars again to change the room got a new one a floor bellow. Not better Some of the windows are old and opening system broken, room full of dust, the carpets smell like dust a lot. Very old toilets. Pillows smelled as other people scalps. The overhall hotel needs a better clean up and to get modernized. You can see that it's s very very old hotel. No attention to details. Windows do not protect from the noise outside. Etc. For the price I have payed I should have gotten better.

The room we had was extreme warm. No working airconditioning. The hotel had placed two mobile ventilators but that didn't help at all. Opening the windows towards the inner patio was the only solution. Regretably doing so enabled the incredible loud noices of the diningguests in the lower diningroom entering our room. This hotel is really end of the road.

The room my fiancé and I had for a night before the marathon was small but decent even though it was old. Breakfast was good and I enjoyed it.

I would not recommend this hotel for anyone. The room size is ok but they are very old and smell very old. The bathroom is the smallest I have ever had to use. For some reason it slopes halfway down the bath and is very dangerous. The bath is about 1m long. I asked at reception for the heat in my room to be turned down and for the pillows to be changed. This did not happen and I had 2 bad night's sleep. You also need to be careful that you don't get a low room. I was awoken by people pulling loads of bins and the bin trucks passing.
The italian restaurant on the ground floor serves very bad food and the service was poor. I ordered the pasta and meatballs (Not hard to get right) everything was hard even the pasta.
I'll never be back to this hotel and will also pass on my experience to others.response / report this review -

Central location. Some rooms good size, some small. Have stayed many times for business. Noisy if you get a room towards the street, and the standard is what's expected for such an old building. Some rooms smell terrible, maybe due to trying to hide cigarette smell in the floor carpets and heavy curtains. Also last time my bathtub almost didn't drain

Rooms decent sized with comfortable bed, and they felt warm and cosy during the terrible Copenhagen weather! Faint musty smell in the room and perhaps a little tired in some places, for example the wardrobe was noisy on opening and could do with a little oil. Bathroom a little small but shower pressure and temperature good. Came with iron and ironing board which was handy and we were able to rent bicycles from the hotel which was great for exploring the city! Overall I would recommend this hotel.

This hotel is on my company's approved list and is about 2/3 the price of the big brands they normally list. The hotel is pleasant, with several seating areas downstairs if you'd like to get out of your room. Rooms are not very big, but are comfortable and well heated in the colder weather. The restaurant offers a basic breakfast buffet, with staff that keep it well stocked. In the evening the restaurant is busy with non-residents and this can affect the service offered.
