Stayed at the Danhostel multiple times over many years. Including other locations within their network. Cannot fault them. Very clean rooms and sheets. Fully stocked breakfast each morning. Friendly and very helpful staff. Has always been my main choice to stay when visiting the city.

stayed here with the family, 3 kids. Good location, clise to busses, Tivoli and even with the kids within walking distance to the center. Direct bus connection to the airport. Clean and friendly, otherwise what you wxpect from a hostel!

although near the Kobenhavn Harbor, it is a walk way from bus stops to the city center. i booked a room for 1 person but i was given a twin bed and a bunk bed. i did not use the bunk bed (waste of space).

For a hostel, it was very nice. Incredible view. Clean. Kitchen with everything you need in the basement including storing your food. Only people with the correct keycards had access to each floor.

I stayed in a shared rooms with 5 beds. No privacy like other hostel because they dont have curtain for the beds. 10 minutes from train station. Near Tivoli. Quite clean. Big lobby with tablet. Small bar

Native English speakers are VIPs here. It is the default tongue. Everyone uses it -- all the foreigners, and the Danes too. They look to paragons such as I for confirmation in idiom, syntax, pronunciation, argot. During a recent trip to the discount grocery store in our neighborhood, I had an experience that left me desperate to be found out as a less than perfect anglophone. I felt that soul-gnashing guilt that the criminal feels when he's practicing his art without taking risk.

While a line full of ESL speakers monitored my progress through the checkout line, the clerk asked "What size" when I asked for a bag. "Whatever size will fit it in" I said. "Excuse me sir, please recast that sentence before existing the store" is what I should have heard but did not. As it was, I was left dissatisfied and unrepentant, not caught propagating bad English.

This place has everything you'd expect from a hostel. 24h reception, easy check-in, young crowd, a lot of backpackers. The prices are alright.
Bar is only open until about midnight.
Wifi is exceptionally great (by German standards).
Cleanliness is okay.

It's more a hotel than a hostel, so if you're not really into the social aspect that normally comes with a hostel, this is your place. Very clean and professional, good staff, good location. The lights in the bathroom don't stay on (motion activated), so have fun taking late showers.

A hostel that gives you a hotel feel. The rooms are nice and clean, not cramped and you can pay a little extra to have a view. The building is many stories tall, so the view is definitely worth it as you can look out over the whole city!

Rooms feature modern bathrooms and there is the possibility of keeping your luggage in the basement after check out if needed. There is also a small Cafe/bar in the lobby area with very friendly staff.

I've stayed here three times and I can only recommend Danhostel!

Cheap and convenient. A bit off the city, but nice location directly at the river. Staff confused our group booking and we got split into many rooms, but I did not mind.

It's basically a large hotel with multiple beds shoved into a stripped down room - BUT it's cheap, the staff are very friendly, and most importantly, it's based in a great location. Hard not to recommend if you don't have high expectations and want a cheap bed for the night.
