Well appointed room with desk, ideal for the business traveller. Close to the city centre and train station. Friendly and helpful reception staff. Very good breakfast included.

Does not live up to +4 star expectations.

This hotel has a really good location, and friendly staff but that's where it ends.

Rooms don't have A/C or climate control and don't try opening a window without earplugs.

Breakfast is not nearly good enough for the 170 DKK they charge you.
There are several cafe/restaurants in the area which will give you a fantastic breakfast experience for the same amount of money.

I will not stay at this hotel again knowing that Copenhagen can offer much better than this.

Very nice for the price. Fresh and clean and awesome breakfast. The personnel were kind and helpful.
The bad thing was the neighborhood it was in, especially at night dodgy people would approach you and offer you stuff which made you not feel very safe walking the area. Drunks and junkies roamed the streets during the day.
However, Tivoli and other nice place are close by and in walking distance.

Plush rooms, great location, very, very helpful staff and plenty of places to just chill out within the hotel. They changed my room with no fuss (wanted a double, not two single beds) and extended my checkout by a couple hours for free when I asked. I'm actually disappointed this hotel chain is only in Denmark because it's just that good!

Reasonable price and nice rooms. Just be aware no air conditioning unless you pay for the upgrade. Staff was excellent though.

Nice place and good staff. Hotel is in the middle of a district with lots of other hotels. There is also quite a few strip joints, sex shops and street girls around.. Still feels like a safe place.

Couldn't have asked for a better place for my first visit to Denmark! I arrived around 8 AM, but they had a room ready for me (and my jet lag). The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are spotless and modern. All of the staff that I've dealt with have been extremely nice, and their English is impeccable. The wifi is free, as is currency exchange at the front desk! I hope I'm lucky enough to stay here again!

We have just stayed at this hotel for four nights, we arrived very late and had no problems checking in at 00.30. The hotel is in the red light district, something that we did not realise before we arrived. Despite it not being the best area, the hotel itself has a lovely reception, lobby and bar. The room was very basic, but clean and well furnished, so no complaints. A fridge in the room was useful and the staff were quick to help with any requests e.g. extra pillows. The only thing we would say is we were not entirely convinced our bedding had been changed everyday, although we could not say for sure. All in all a good stay, but a little pricy for the standard of hotel it is.

I was only there to do some work in the lobby with a colleague staying there. The atmosphere was nice, lots of seating and nice staff. Outlets were a bit sparse though. The breakfast looked nice but was a continental breakfast.

Not the worst, but certainly one of my most disappointing hotel experiences; this is a 4 star in name only. First, the positives: It is very clean, in a very convenient location and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I can't think of much else to say that's good. Unless you're lucky enough to be a very heavy sleeper, count out a good night's rest. The night was a constant hubbub of late arriving guests (the loud drunk ones were particularly fun!) all heard through the paper thin walls, and catching up on the lost sleep with a lie-in was a pipe dream, thanks to highly zealous cleaners working from about 6am to 12pm, bashing hoovers against the skirting boards and seemingly moving heavy furniture. In the end I gave in and used ear plugs (which I hate) but much of the noise was still audible through them! And the Absalon had one last trick up its sleeve - a 4am fire alarm. Standing on the street in what clothes one could quickly grab in Copenhagen in the middle of the night is quite an experience. Foolishly we assumed we might get a night's stay taken off our bill for this - ha! Other disappointments include a piddly shower, poor toiletry offering and a general lack of anything to feel "special".

Decent hotel; decor is great, modern. Very clean, nice check in staff and generally well priced. A few negatives though; it's in a pretty seedy area so there are some interesting characters after dark. We also had the fire alarm go off at 4am on our first night; I apparently it's not an irregular occurrence. Lastly, the server's at breakfast can be a little inattentive, although that was probably related to how busy the hotel was. If you want a centrally located hotel for a good price, and aware of the few quirks, this hotel is for you.

Quite a stylish hotel. The cheaper rooms aren't huge but they're clean, comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast is really good and the staff were excellent and friendly. They were really good about letting us use the left luggage room, both when we arrived and our room wasn't ready and when we checked out. They were also good when we asked them to sort us out with an ironing board. The location is very good being right near the main station and a short walk from Tivoli Gardens.
