Nice lobby with cheap bar.
Our room was in another building and looked pretty cheap but it was clean.
It's quite far from the touristic attractions but there's some nice bars in the area.

A great hostel! Its located on Nørrebro area which actually has some cool bars and clubs. Its also not a far walk or cycle to the centre and most other tourist locations. Its also close to the metro station so its easy to get to and from the airport

All in all my friends and I really enjoyed our stay in the private room. A few remarks though:
- The floors were not properly cleaned. Very dusty.
- The showers smelled like piss in the mornings (but thankfully NOT after they had been cleaned in the afternoons).

The biggest reason for not giving you a 5 star rating is the very arrogant man working in the reception yesterday (Sunday Oct 29). He seemed to hate his job, barely looking up from what he was doing when we checked out, didn't ask us about our stay etc..

Also when my friend thought she had left her ring at the zink in the restroom in the reception, and therefore had to call and ask about it, he definitely was not interested in helping her. He refused to walk the five steps from were he was standing and have a look. We had been sitting in the main area just an hour before and I would not describe it as busy.

Just a simple thing as looking for a ring with a lot of sentimental value was too hard for him

This place was great. But we got some bed bugs from there. And I do not appreciate that Hostel's stuff did know they have bed bugs (read some reviews below), and they did not tell about that. Otherwise the place was great: stuff was nice, breakfast was good, and beer was cheep and the location was great. But BED BUGS SUCKS!

My friend and I stayed here for five nights, it was great from start to finish. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and felt homely. I read many reviews that complained about this being too far from the town which we did not find to be true. It seemed like the perfect location, with good public transport around. All staff were helpful and easy going. All of these factors combined made for a comfortable stay.

I spent one night at this hostel, the staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean with spacious lockers. They offered a very good breakfast at a reasonable price, the only downside is that it is not in the center of Copenhagen, still it will take you about 15-20 min to get to the city center.

really great. easy to find, 10 minutes from subway station. staff nice, bathrooms clean, lockers free, rooms neat and beds perfectly usable. no complaints. when i lost my room key at 3 am, staff were at the main counter and willing to help. i didnt try the breakfast or bikes, but a perfect place to crash after a day in the city

All in all, it was an excellent experience! The staff was extremely kind, always with a smile on their faces, and even though we were in a 12 bed room, we still felt like we had our privacy because the beds were oriented in specific directions. Also, the breakfast that is offered is amazing, everything was fresh and tasty, good quality for a small price, compared to the high prices in the rest of the city. They also hold lots of information about the neighborhood, and the best places to visit, as well as nifty bikes to rent directly from the hostel. It is easy to find, and relatively close to the city center. A very cozy hostel for young people exploring the city! Would definitely visit again! :)

I have stayed at quite a few hostels and can honestly say Sleep in Heaven was definitely the best one yet. It's quite small so you avoid that eery hotel chain feel.
The furnishing is true danish style, wood, plants and pretty atmospheric lighting. The lounge area is lovely and its hard not to feel relaxed lying on big comfy cushions with a blanket looking out the old industrial windows.

Showers are hot, bathrooms are clean, other people staying at the hostel were friendly and didn't cause any trouble. I felt very safe during my stay, also the staff were amazing and friendly too !

A really well-balanced, comfortable hostel experience. The staff are incredibly friendly, and the common area ranges from peaceful in the daytime to pleasantly social in the evening. The luggage storage situation is more accommodating than in many other hostels in the price range. Dorms are fine - people snore, but that's the life. Norrebro is a chill neighborhood. If you tend to be a high-strung traveler, like me, Sleep in Heaven is the kind of really commodious place that can take the edge off things :)

Best hostel I've been for the 20-40 € prince range. Rooms and bathrooms were excellent and clean. The reception had very nice staff and was cozy. They also have local beers on the reception, so it's a good place to start your party and get to know people from all around the world.

Sleep In Heaven has been a great hostel experience. The beds are comfortable, rooms are appropriately sized, lockers are in rooms and come with a lock tied to your key card, showers are clean and water was plenty warm. The bar and social area are both nice and the bar has very cheap drinks by Copenhagen standards. We'll happily stay here again on our next visit!

An excellent marketing copy on their site will give you the idea that it's the hip and happening place to be. Come in around happy hour and you see the hostel as it was described - a youthful space for hanging out.

It's not just rooms and beds and shared showers. If you order a drink and mingle at the long tables, you definitely won't be drinking alone.

Seems like lots of solo travellers stay here.

4 stars due to its distance from most of the city attractions but rent a bike and you should be good to go! Get the most of the rental by starting out early and returning the bike by 10am the next day. (89DKK)

A cozy hostel to spend a few days with friends. Is a bit far away for the city centre (30 minutes by walk). The atmosphere is great and the staff too. You can easily bring your own food and eat it in the common area using the cutlery. Awsome!!
