This place was a dive. Yes it is very cheap and close to the central area, but it is a rough neighbourhood. Everyone is wearing hoodies and looks shady. The room itself had not been dusted in a long time, but otherwise clean. The bathroom is tiny and old, shower curtain that doesn't stop the floor from flooding. Again, it was cheap but consider spending and few extra euros for a nicer place.
The location was excellent, near to public transportation and trains, and the tourist busses and tours. The people who work there are very kind and they are very helpful, the street where the hotel is, is a little bit insecure because of all the dealers and playhouses and strip places over there, but when you get used to, that it's fine. It was a nice street though for eating great Arabian food and there are lots of little shops and supermarkets if you have a whim.
Absolutely horrible place. The hot water was broken for the entire stay and there was no water at all for over 5 hours. We couldn't shower, drink water, go to the bathroom, wash our hands, etc. Ridiculous. The room was dirty and the light bulbs were burnt out. Bathroom was disgusting, again no water. Carpet was hard and felt dirty. We left our bags at reception and they went through them, A LOT. We came back to our bags with pockets open, the insides rearranged, the zipper BROKEN, and buckles all undone. What kind of horrible place is this. The staff were generally friendly but the American guy at reception said the f-word and s-word more times while checking us in than the most vulgar people I know say it. Ruined the hotel feel. The overall facility was disgusting and broken, the rooms were horrible, the staff are dishonest, and they had NO WATER. Never ever come to this atrocious place. You couldn't pay me to step foot in that place again.
Nice clean hotel very conveniently placed. Less than 10 minutes walk to the main train station and 15 minutes to the centre of Munich. Staff were nice, and there is free tea in the lobby. Rooms were getting a bit old but still good condition.
First off, this is not a 3 star hotel. I booked through Priceline with the description saying it was a 3 star hotel. The cleanliness, decor, ambiance, quality of the rooms are all of 2 star. The only reason why I give them 2 star rating is that the location is great for Oktoberfest and the staff are friendly.
Budget place to stay next to the hauptbahnhof in Munich. With clean rooms, a good buffet breakfast available if need be, and pragmatic rooms this is a good choice for a quick stay.
Bed was fine, bathroom was really clean, floor was iffy, staff was good
Very cheap considering clean room, bathroom and sufficient amenities such as hair dryer, shampoo etc. lady at front desk apologized for not offering breakfast but instead, she told us the local's best breakfast restaurant and gave me a map. You can get free cup of tea and bring it to your room and chill. If you are just looking for staying and not lookinh for further more service, this place is good enough.
they gave me a room with somebody already in lol after coming back to the reception they gave me a good one !
Good value room, close to the main train station
