The breakfast here is incredible. The hotel location is awesome too.

We booked this hotel for the beginning of a road trip in Bavaria. We weren't disappointed. Best breakfast, great room, lovely staff, and excellent location about 5 mins from main station.We booked again for the last night of our road trip and have booked again for a break in February. We would highly recommend the Hotel Metropol to anyone with no hesitation.

Nice hotel. Located at a quiet street but very close to the main train station. Just 5 min walk. Walkable to the s bahn stop and the main shopping centre. Very good breakfast to start a day. Highly recommended.

Hotel Metropol was the perfect place to stay. The hotel is extremely clean and exhibits a modern decor. The rooms were a nice size, efficiently designed, and very quiet. The breakfast was excellent especially the Greek yogurt. The location is close to the old town and virtually across the street from the cental station, which makes day trips very convenient.
What really sets this hotel apart from others is its dedicated service. We arrived early and the hotel not only stored our luggage but delivered the luggage to our rooms. The staff eagerly tried to help in every way possible. For example, upon checkout, I forgot several credit cards and other important documents in my room safe. The hotel called as soon as my mistake was discovered. The staff offered to drive the documents to the airport. I already arrived in Paris so the hotel offered to send me my belongings. The manager emailed me to confirm the date the hotel sent the package, and the documents were waiting for me when I arrived home.response / report this review -

Loved the hotel staff and service. I thought the hotel was nicely furnished and well done. I was in for my birthday and they even remembered and wished me well with a little present. We stayed in the room with a balcony, no crazy good view or anything but it was nice. I liked that you could open the window and doors to get fresh air in if you wanted. I had a few things that I thought were a little strange as an American. 1. No shower door, instead it was almost like a cubby in the bathroom, with a glass partition up, however there was a part open with no door. It was rather easy to spash water out of it. 2. We got a king bed, but they didn't appear to have a king comforter, so we got two twins. 3. I know it's kind of common but no ice maker. I would assume the bartender would gladly give me some just thought it a little strange.

We had a stop over in Munich for 3 nights and picked this one through an Internet search, we were pleased. The room is OK, not too big but enough, the breakfast is superb, large variety to choose from, the staff is very helpful.
Just pity they don't have a full restaurant for dinner, but there are plenty other options around.response / report this review -
