Niceish rooms, friendly but overworked staff. I'd give it four stars for interesting decor, good-sized rooms, good location and low price but at 8:20 in the morning, when I was in bed, someone knocked on my door. I said, "Yes?" and she opened it. Housekeeping.
First, no one should knock that early. Second, knock at least twice. Third, it was the day we were checking out, so wait for is to check out and don't knock at all.
I don't like lying in bed, just awakened, and looking at a woman coming into my room. I can't understand how this is acceptable.
The room was clean and tidy. The bed was comfy however the pillow was not thick enough. The prices of the contents of the minibar were not unreasonable. €3 for a water or coke. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful in providing information about the city. All the front of house staff spoke good English. The bar had a snack menu that was served until 23.30.
I was here for only one night. It was really nice. Clean, cool receptionist.
They are happy to keep your bag when you want to go around.☺️ Happy times..
I recommend it.
The rooms are nice, the bathroom has a nice size and it's clean. Even though my room was going out the front and there es a relatively large street, I did not have any trouble sleeping and the bed was comfortable, too. I would stay here again in case I'm in the area again.
I would have given this hotel a 4 star rating if if weren't for their lousy pillows. Argh pillows! I realize pillows are a very subjective topic but their pillows were like a puff of air and hardly substantial. We requested harder pillows but to no avail. We also had a queen bed with two single bed blankets. What's up with that?! We also found it hard to control the temperature air conditioning except for turning it on and off
That said, the rooms were big and nice and clean. The hotel and rooms were quiet and the location was pretty good - close to the U and the river with plenty of food options. There's also a super market right next to it so if you're planning a long stay that's quite helpful.
Some of the staff members were not very friendly or helpful when we asked for assistance and seemed annoyed when we came to them for help.
The hotel was in an excellent location which always makes things easier, especially for a visitor who needs to go from place to place. The staff was great and the breakfast was superb!! I love Berlin.
Excellent location, with comfortable rooms
Fair breakfast
Wifi works fine
Quiet and comfortable rooms, although small. Staff helpful and quick responding to requests. Reasonably- priced breakfast buffet. Close to many restaurants and theaters.
We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Hotel Berlin-Mitte from 5 October-10 October. The staff were very helpful and competent.
Our only suggestion is that the room we occupied, 101, is on the street side and the first floor, making it very noisy most of the night long. We have stayed in other hotels with the same arrangement but they controlled the noise by installing double-paned windows and insulation.
Thank you for your good service!
The location is great. It's centrally located and there's even a grocery store next door. Staff is friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean, and the breakfast buffet is awesome.
