Well located hotel just 5 minutes from Alexanderplatz. Nice enough inside - clean and comfortable but id say its more a 3 star hotel in all honesty as lacking safe or minibar - but boosted by the location. There is a bar and restaurant on site but never tried it - also a spa onsite but never got chance to go as open from 2pm-10pm when we were out - unfortunately not open in morning when we would have been likely to go. Overall decent value though especially for terrific location.

we arrive for the first time in Berlin and checked in to the H4. The staff welcomed us and were very efficient during check-in. their willingness to assist was above the requirement.

An attractive hotel in a great location. For me possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on. I can't comment on service or food as we didn't eat there or request anything from the front desk/concierge. The only reason I didn't give a 5 is because there was a touch of mould in the shower, overall seemed very clean though.

Highly recommended.
Was there 2 months ago, stayed with family in two separate rooms on a b&b regular room basis.
The rooms were good in size, modern and well kept. The closet arrangement though wasn't to my liking, all exposed without doors, made the room feel very messy from the moment we arrived.
Also during our stay there were water heating issues and there was no notice to the guests though it was known for some time and took a few hours to fix. The cold shower and it's handling is the major reason for the 4 stars review.
Breakfast was excellent, a buffet with a rich variety to the taste of visitors from world wide, fresh breads, coffee, fruits&veggies, custom made eggs and much more. Quick service and very clean. Also the dining room atmosphere and decor was really nice.
Overall, great stay for a fair price in the best location.

Far exceeded expectations. 5 star rooms, great bathroom as well as top cleanliness.
Location gets you everywhere. Everyone should 100% check out the restaurant hofbrau which is right around the corner. It can sit 3000 people and the atmosphere there is something to experience. We are definitely staying here next time.

The location of this hotel is very close to the center of Alexanderplatz which has many stores and restaurants. We liked the location! It is on a busy street but the room was very quiet and there is a huge sidewalk for easy access. The breakfast buffet was OUTSTANDING with everything you would want. The rooms were clean, comfortable and a decent size. The water pressure in the shower was great. My purse was stolen while we visited Berlin and the staff at H4 were very very kind. They helped us AND they provided us with a lovely fruit tray (to include chocolate covered strawberries) and gave a us a few dinner/drink coupons to help brighten our day after a very unfortunate event. The manager and staff were wonderful and we greatly appreciate their care and kindness during our stay..they were great! I would definitely stay here again.

A good quality hotel with friendly staff throughout, and good clean, comfortable and well furnished, quiet rooms. Did not eat in, but small bar is quiet and welcoming, with friendly bar staff. We were not looking for the "H4" as we booked through Expedia into the Ramada. Some re-branding has occured and this is not obvious so caused some confusion. Other arrivals in reception at the same time asked me if the hotel was the Ramada, so needs some indication outside. No tea/coffee facilities in the room which was disappointing. Otherwise an excellent hotel and I am likely to go back there when next in Berlin.

Excellent hotel with good location near train . Room was very clean and spacious with very comfortable bed. Bar prices were good and cocktails excellent. Breakfast maybe a bit over priced but good nonetheless

Nice modern business hotel. Lots of useful storage shelves and ample power sockets. Good shower, nice practical bathroom layout with lots of mirrors and a decent hairdryer. Bed comfortable but pillows a bit too flat. Good selection of hot and cold options at breakfast including crepes and freshly made omelettes to order. What left a really sour taste for me though was the ludicrously tight water policy. On arrival, the room was stocked with 2 bottles of sparkling mineral water but these weren't refilled on the 2nd day of my stay. When I asked at reception, I was told they are only provided on the 1st night even though each subsequent night is charged at the same rate and if I'd booked 2 separate nights I would have got 2 more bottles! The receptionist was unapologetic for the obviously ludicrous policy and said I could order water at the bar or from room service (at >10¢ per ml!) and even laughed at me with her colleague as I was leaving the desk, which I found inexcusably rude. I went up to the fitness centre, as I'd used the gym earlier in the day and there was a water cooler there but it was surprisingly empty. I guess a lot of people had the same idea. Shame for such an otherwise nice hotel

An excellent location for first time visitors to the city. The staff throughout were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The hotel facilities were very good and our junior suite was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel restaurant was good. Very agreeable staff with the just the right mix of efficiency and bonhomie. The food was good but a little pricey, I suppose you pay for the convenience of not schlepping around the place looking for an eatery. Get a good deal on this hotel - thanks Expedia - and I hope you experience is as good as ours.
