I have no complaints, me and my girlfriend stayed here for a long weekend to see the Christmas markets and it is in the perfect location for them. Our room was well furnished, clean and warm when we arrived. Room service was also fast and professional.

A lovely hotel in a great location. We unfortunately didn't get the room we booked and paid for, and the 'upgrade' was in an annex located in an odd, separate part of the hotel two different elevator rides away (and even decorated differently). But they did their best to give some other perks to make up for it. Live piano music on sat night, good cocktails, comfy beds. What more can you ask for?

The Westin Grand is a good place to stay! It's got an old-world kind of charm, rooms are generally nice and service is good. The hotel restaurant is decent, but not more. Gym could be bigger, but works ok.

The hotel is in a fabulous location in Berlin. It's close walking distance to many of the main tourist attractions in the city, as well as close to a train station. There are many, many shops and restaurants in the area for a variety of wants and needs. The lobby of the hotel is gorgeous, and the staff is kind and helpful. My issue (and why I can only give three stars) is due to the rooms. My room is a long walk from the elevator. In fact, I have to take an elevator to the second floor, then take another elevator back to the first floor to reach my room. I will need to provide about 10 minutes with luggage to walk to the lobby. This is only an inconvenience, however upon check-in, I found a pair of red underwear on the heater in the room. This led me to give a thorough inspection of the room and I am not confident that this room was properly cleaned prior to check-in. I notified the front desk and they had someone promptly come to remove the underwear. Overall, it's a great location, just give the room a thorough check before you settle in.

The Westin is a wonderful hotel that delivered a truly relaxing experience. The check-in was quick and staff were very helpful and friendly. The room with a queen size bed and a garden view was spacious and well-equipped. I slept very well in the comfortable bed. All things considered I will definitely stay here when I visit Berlin again.

Good hotel. Some things ruined the experience a little.. at first we got placed in a tiny room with no windows, in the basement.. it was pretty awful. We upgraded to a suite on one of the upper levels, which was nice and spacious. Looked a bit oldschool, but I kind of liked that. Our upgrade also included breakfast. At the breakfast room they insisted we should pay and sign for breakfast, so we had to make it clear we already paid for breakfast.. They were just not that attentive in regards to the little things. Really long line for check-in and checkout.

Other than that: Really nice lobby, love hanging out there, pretty good indoor pool. Gym isn't bad either. Excellent concierge!

In a nutshell, the hotel is serviceable; adequate room, okay gym & pool, decent location, but nothing special. Except the buffet. Oh my God, the breakfast buffet!!!! :o

    GOOD
    - Desk with adjustable chair, lots of outlets
    - Internet reliability and speed
    - Bathrobe in room
    - zomg buffet!!! (food, service, everything!) Seriously one of the best breakfasts I've had in my life. I nibbled almost nonstop for TWO HOURS with a perpetual smile on my face. Cheeses, crepes, eggs, breads, pastries, champagne, fresh squeezed juices, smoothies made to order, pates, and everything of stellar quality! I would seriously go out of my way to visit this buffet when staying anywhere in Berlin and would be happy to pay the requisite 32+ EUR.

    BAD
    - Asked for a quiet room, got anything but. Street noise. And then, on a -
Wed night, VERY loud music in the evening (trumpet! flute! bass! More bass!) apparently from a street musician. And I was on the top floor!
    - Having to re-sign in every device 2+ times a day
    - No drawers for clothes
    - Shower with side half open
    - Bed that was crazy insane soft; if you have any back issues, woe unto you. If you don't have any back issues, you might after sleeping here.
    - No exec lounge. Basically, my Starwood Gold status was pretty useless here.
    - Kinda tired, shabby room; one lamp flickered, info-folio had seen way better days (torn, notebook broken, etc.)

Everything was good there. Efficient service, nice and clean room, and really comfortable bed.

However, for the rate they charge, Wi-Fi should be included.

Overall, the hotel lacks a bit of soul. Feels to generic.

Grand, central hotel that's like a faded ocean liner. Location is excellent. Feeling of tired luxury - doors not working, snagging required in rooms, staff very variable (some lovely, others wandering confused and sloppy, especially in the breakfast area). Rooms are generous in size but a bit old-fashioned. It's not got 5-star polish and flair, but it's half the price of the Adlon and so a good deal. So long as you are aware that it's not at the top of its game right now then you won't be disappointed, especially at current room rates.

This location is fabulous! Only a ten minute walk to Checkpoint Charlie, Brandenburg Gate, and several Christmas markets. The breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of breads, teas, coffees, meats, cheese's, and fruits. The beds were extremely comfortable and the entire hotel was impeccably clean. A true 10/10.
