No free wifi. Nice place overall.
s ce nicht town i the bavarian alps
Good, Great view. The rooms are nice but in real need of renovation. Rotting door frames for example. Worn carpet. Corroding faucets. To name a few.
I don't know how the Hotel is but its restaurant was overpriced, the food was oversalted and everything was over slow. (Consider it as TL;DR; part)
The portions where rather small. It is usual game rule for pricey restaurants and It is OK for me if the food is of Mechelen quality. But in this restaurant it was the worst food I ate in Germany. Even at food stalls in shopping malls where I had accidental snacks during shopping the food was better than in this restaurant.
The only good thing I could tell is that the staff was polite and responsive.
We were at the restaurant on the Christmas eve to have Christmas dinner. And it was our big mistake. We waited for the fist course 1,5 hour, the main dish was in another 1 hour. The meat was oversalted and not tasty, the portions were very small. All food was really bad. We paid for small cup of soup, but it was only broth also oversalted, and small piece of oversalted meat 33 euro per person (my brouther was lucky and his meat was not salted). It was the worst food I ate in Germany.
Great location of hotel on pedestrian area in center of town. Room in front of hotel was too loud for us. Would book one in back next time. Rooms need some new fabrics and carpet, things a bit worn. The pool was exceptionally good and with a view of the Alps. Breakfast buffet was good, not great. Staff was pretty friendly.
Beautiful town, with beautiful hotel. The room was very nice, but the only problem was that I had a single room, which was very small, but then again I am a 6 ft. man and I'm not sure of the normal European room. The breakfast buffet was good, and the staff was nice. The biggest problem for me though was that you only got 15 minutes of free WiFi and my phone couldn't even connect for that, the rest you have to pay for. Other than that it was a very nice hotel.
