We stayed at Park Plaza Berlin Kudamm for one night only but experienced amazing service. Staff really wants you to have good times. The rooms are not that big but have great beds with multiple pillows (hard or soft), showers with enough water pressure and smart TVs as standard. Parking is a bit difficult and may range from 6€ right on the other side of the street to between 18 and 40 € a day depending on the garage you choose. The hotel is located nearby lots of POIs, like KaDeWe, Gedächtniskirche or Zoologischer Garten. Brandenburger Tor is 10 minutes by car or 45 min on foot. Room pricing is okay, too. - 60€ for 2 per night (plus parking :/) We would stay again with Park Plaza. :)
Overall: disappointing. The rooms are worn and badly in need of a refresh. Carpets were stained, porcelain in the bathroom was cracked and there was at least one missing tile in the shower. The TV was placed in a position that made it uncomfortable to view from the bed, apparently so the stand it was on could be positioned to obscure a large coffee (?) stain on the carpet. The towels were small (and in short supply on occasion). Weirdly, on the last night or two single duvets (for the king size bed) were replaced with a nice big king size one, and which was much better. On the plus side the location is pretty good near Kudamm so handy for shops, transport and the Christmas market.
No one expects this hotel to be as nice as it actually is. The rate per night was very reasonable. The room was received was quite large and comfortable. The hotel and the room appear dated but clean. The room I received included extra annenities such as slippers and robes. Would stay again.
It is Good hotel & my experience staying there for 2 nights was really good. I had standard room which was good. I was expecting Park Plaza as more upscale & high standard hotel which it really failed to prove, so i only gave it 3 star. Phone in the room was out of order. In breakfast they had few options for Vegetarians which was helpful.
For some reason it is extremely stuffy all over the hotel. The halls outside the rooms are nearly always dark which in itself is not really a problem but it is a little strange. The room is clean though and the breakfast buffet is decent. Bathroom is nice and large but nowhere to hang towels so you either have to jam them under the sink, put them in the sink or on the floor which is a bit of a bother. Also only 2 accessable power sockets, one at the door and one next to one bed, but not next to the other one.
A very good hotel with very nice staff. Wich are very guestfree
Have stayed here several times and always had a great experience. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The whole hotel is very clean, located at an exceptional location very close to the underground and shopping areas. Some rooms are more spacious than others but all of them are well-equipped with a big and comfy comfortable bed and pillows, coffee machine, smart TV, powerful heater and bathroom with accessories. The rooms are soundproof so a quiet stay is expected all times. Wi-Fi is free and very good. Technically it's a 3 star hotel only but feels like more than that. Recommended for all travelers!
Huge comfy bed! Carpet a little dirty in the room but other than that can't fault it! Nice bar in the lobby and friendly staff!
Booked a room for 2 with one bed, got a room for 2 with two single beda.
When I inquired about my original booking, I was told all rooms for two with one bed are gone and my booking was "just a wish" for a queen or king size bed.
To clarify: I booked a room with one bed for 2, I didn't wish for it, as far as I can tell, I choose it and paid for it. This has not happened to me before at any other hotel I stayed.
Positive: The rooms are as expected and the subway station is very close by.
Very good location, big beds, comfortable, has many UK TV stations (BBC, ITV). Good value for money.
