Went here on a busy night but the staff were accommodating and found us a seat. Food was really tasty and reasonably priced. Try the strudel! Ordering was a bit slow but understandable given the number of other guests.

Stopped here on my first night in Berlin just after landing, it was very busy but the excellent staff made sure to find me a seat, the whole experience was great from start to finish.

I had the pork knuckle, it was amazing some of the best pork I've had in years. Really hearty just what I was after, good portion size and cooked to perfection, a proper classic of German cuisine.

Good food, good beer, great staff, both professional and friendly, cannot find fault.

Authentic feeling, friendly German restaurant. Busy, so book in advance or take a chance like we did and get the last available table! Good food and plenty of it. Good atmosphere. Recommended!

Food was excellent! I had the jagershnitzel and hubby had the Berliner plate and goulash. All of it was hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned. The only thing not so great was the service- but they appeared to only have one waitress working on a Saturday night. Assume that was just a one off night but I'd still come back even if it wasn't- the food is worth it!

I really like this place. Food was a little on a salty side but really tasty and massive portions. The lady that served us and may also be an owner was extremely friendly. We're going again to try their farmers breakfast. Highly recommended for German cuisine.

A cozy gasthaus that made us visit five times during our short stay in Berlin. Genuinely friendly and attentive staff, large portions of delicious german dishes at affordable prices. And great beer (as always in Germany)! Recommended!
