First of all, everything looks much worse in real life than it does in the picture, starting with the pool. The pictures made it look a lot larger and nicer. The sauna area smelled like a toilet. The dinner buffet (!) was €28,- p.p. and the food was mediocre at best. Even though we had a discount card, it was not worth the money at all. It was still majorly overpriced. Getting to the hotel is a drag; it is located in the middle of nowhere and it takes ages to get there by any means of transport.

Try and get one of the rooms on the 2nd or 3rd floor, they are newly renovated and very nice. Comfy beds, good (but expensive) restaurant, great sports and spa area! The road it's situated on is very busy and you will definitely hear the cars at night in some rooms but the general atmosphere is serene. Recommended overall!

Great food, nice rooms with good beds. The refurbishing was done really cheap and in according to the price really bad quality. Most important stuff was forgotten, like mosquito nets etc. But they installed an a/c wich nobody needs in central Germany. But due to the condensate water from the a/c my room got flooded while shaving (just having a little bit of tub water running to wash off the hair from the razor) but that was enough to overpower the sink. It came out through the a/c inlet. Before this happened, I did inform the hotel about this really bad quality of the work done. Nobody seems to care about that.

Used the sports facilities. Wide range of fitness equipment available. Can attend also sports classes. Yoga I attended was challenging and relaxing at same time. Tabata is high intensive training which is very taxing to the system. I would recommend both.

We appreciated the comfy bed and different pillows. The friendly staff and spa treatments made our stay pleasant. There were some areas for attention which include: to improve the wet sauna; there was no airco, no mosquito nets and ventilator in the bathroom.
Certain spa treatments eg the manicure and nail polish was priced too high In view of the treatment received. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the hotel.response / report this review -
