My stay at the hotel was pleasant. However, customer service after my stay was terrible. I left an important document in the room and called to the hotel to find out if they found it. First call was at night and the guy who answered the phone told me to call again next morning at 7. I did, a lady told me they found it and when I asked to mail them to my home town at my own expenses she told me she had to talk to a colleague and asked me to call back at 8. I did but couldn't get an answer from the hotel but from a call center of the Novum Hotel group. I have called several times and they are never able to connect to the hotel. Last guy asked me to send an email. I did but there was not answer. At the end, I just desisted of calling (and spending more money in international phone calls) and assume the consequences of having lost the document.

Quite old hotel, very basic in its services.
A man, who saidto belong to the staff of the hotel, entered my room with a passepartout key in the morning and then apologised when he saw that I was inside.
What was odd is that he didn't even knock: like it was a fraudolent intromission.
Meanwhile I notices that a guy lamented some intrusiopn in his room as well with loss of personals.

It Wasn't nice nor the rooms , you speak with the guy on the rescription in English and he answers back in german

Clean with good service. Spoke English well. Rooms are a bit small but serviceable. About what you'd expect from a budget chain like a Premier Inn.
Easy walking distance from central shops. Area is a bit downmarket, but it's a real party area with lots of bars within a couple of blocks, including a few gay bars.
If you want something cheaper and livelier, the hostel around the corner seems to be a party hostel with a big crowd in the lounge.response / report this review -

Die Zimmer sind alt und abgewohnt. Es ist nicht wirklich dreckig, aber auch nicht sauber. Als ich mich heute nach der Ankunft auf das Bett gesetzt hatte, sah ich sofort mehrere Haare auf der Bettwäsche (ohne zu suchen!). Der Teppich hat überall alte Flecken und die Badtür hat noch nie einen Lappen gesehen (überall Spritzer). Auch im Bad waren Haare auf dem Boden. Die Lage ist zentral, aber trotzdem in einer halbwegs ruhigen Seitenstraße.
Und by the way: beim Frühstück springen die Mäuse durch den Raum. Sehr vergnüglichresponse / report this review -

Was OK, but from the moment my daughter fell from the stairs due to loose carpet and having informed the staff but was secretly laughed at from behind reception this all changed. You should fix the carpet, she has "only" broken her wrist another person might have been worse off. As much as for the laughing you should be ashamed of yourselves!

Overall it was average, fairly old hotel and was average in cleanliness which is reflected in the price paid
