My grandfather used to work at this brewery so visiting is a must during all my travels back home to Germany.
Over the years, I have noticed slight changes, some for the better, others not so good. I truly enjoy the beer and the atmosphere. The food is tasty and fitting for a microbrew. The menu is getting smaller though. This year I visited during spargel season and was hoping to have some at the brewery, but the lunch menu was very abbreviated.
Also, I usually pay using my amex card. I don't have any problem anywhere else but have encountered problems at this place, two years in a row. When I called amex they informed me that they couldn't even find any attempts for charges. Please fix this!

Still love visiting though!

We stayed here 2 nights. Hotel location is not so good, about a 10 minute walk into the town center, essentially hotel is located on the outskirts of town. Hotel is more like a conference center. But the room was very nice, modern and quiet (we were on the 3rd floor). We came to this hotel because of the bowling alley and the beer. Hotel provides free parking in an open area in front of and besides the hotel building. Breakfast buffet was good but in a large hall, there was only one other guest besides us. We drowned in the space. Staff were very friendly and engaged easily in conversation.
