Very small rooms and unfriendly staff. They don't stick to price agreements on a room, try and bump it up at the last moment. If they consider that they have sold a room too cheap, you are not welcome to breakfast, even if you pay; 8 euro for a couple of rolls and coffee. Not impressed at all. Would have awarded 0 stars if option were avaliable!
This is a budget hotel, so I'm rating it as such. As far as budget accommodations go, it's not bad, but don't expect the best. The staff are very friendly and the room was clean, which is why I rated it four-stars instead of three. When we arrived for check-in, we were initially given a room on a low floor facing the main street. Immediately upon walking into the room, I knew the extensive traffic noise would be a problem for me, as I'm a light sleeper. I went back to the front desk and was able to get us moved to a room facing the courtyard at the back of the hotel. It was quiet, but tiny. Now, when I say tiny, I mean to get around to the far side of the bed, you need to crawl over a piece of furniture. The main walkway from the front door to the sleeping area is a little over a foot wide due to a dresser. We were willing to deal with it, but if you have mobility issues, this might not be the place for you. The room was furnished for only one guest despite the double bed, but we were able to get extra towels and bedding from the front desk. Again, the customer service was where this hotel shines. Aside from its tininess, the room is adequate. The bed is okay--we've had better and worse on our trip--the curtains block some light but far from all, bathroom is decently appointed, and the TV has an average channel selection by European hotel standards. The main downside is significant noise transfer between the rooms and the hallway. Can I recommend this place? Yes, if you're getting it for a low price and there aren't a lot of other options. However, it would not be my go-to accommodation.
The rooms and the building could be cleaner and maybe a nice renovation would help a lot but generally nice. Very good location! The check in was very slow as they didn't find my booking but the other people of the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Reasonable value for the money!
Room at the street side fully in the sun and plus 30 degrees Celsius outside. Opening a window not all that of an option. So either be awake of the heavy traffic noise, or get fried. But reasonable breakfast but additional for 8 euros. All in all, reasonable at a very reasonable price.
The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. However, the hotel itself could use a renovation. Good location and they offer private parking. Be careful though, the parking spaces are a bit tricky to get into. The price is good for a hotel in Munich.
Good location
The overall condition is below average, wifi coverage not even, rooms are too tiny
casual place, with authentic design. Very close to tram. breakfast next door
Worst place I ever been. The room is cramped let alone alone all room furniture seems like be retained from 70x. If you are looking for the cheap place to stay for one night - it may be suitable.
Pervasive smell of smoke, unenthusiastic but otherwise helpful staff - mostly what you'd expect for the price.
