Check in was quick, our room was ready even though we were early. Very nicely decorated and quiet in off-peak season. However we had issues with the safe in our room, where it worked initially and then refused to open for us. Reception had to open it and said they would get someone up to fix it the next morning-glory this didn't happen. We were completely ignored by the staff at breakfast beyond a nod off greeting, who greeted and served everyone that entered the room after us immediately. Also the hairdryer kept over- heating and cutting out on us (lasted a max of 2 minutes). It wouldn't turn on for us until it had completely cooled down. Not a good thing to find out after a shower in Munich in November.
Overall, we liked the hotel but I don't think we'll be staying here again.
We are loving our stay at Bavaria Boutique Hotel! The staff is wonderful, the room is just the right size for a romantic get away & the breakfast is amazing! Also, we are about a mile from the train station, and just a block away from the main entrance to Oktoberfest. The perfect location to be close to both.
Small hotel but very nice. The newly redesigned rooms are really beautiful and breakfast is great. Not to forget the staff who is always welcoming.
A fantastic, modern boutique hotel near the Oktoberfest area (walking distance). We were really happy with our 3 night stay here. Staff was super friendly and professional. Great breakfast spread. Cute lounge and bar. We stayed in the Lifestyle double room, which was a bit small but had everything we need. I liked the shampoo/body wash product. Things to keep in mind: instead of AC, there is an oscillating fan. Sometimes the room can get stuffy and warm. The shower doesn't have a door so you'll hear water running. Good neighborhood, walking distance to a cute cafe, laundromat and eateries. Besides that, Id stay here again and recommend it if you're going for Oktoberfest.
We were very happy with everything at this hotel. the room was modern, clean and comfortable; the hotel staff were friendly and welcoming; the location was with walking distance of all sites of note (except the Olympic site). We are avid walkers but the stadium was just too far.
Finding that our suite had a balcony was a lovely surprise. The hotel also had a patio on which we could enjoy our breakfast.
We were able to have a very restful experience in this hotel and look forward to another visit.
Nice rooms. Quite street. Nice service. The breakfast could be larger but it tastes good
I just checked out of the Bavaria Hotel and could not recommend it more. The rooms were clean, well kept, comfortable, and very spacious. The bathrooms were also well kept and the showers were fantastic. The included breakfast was amazing, lots of fresh cold cuts, fruit, veggies, eggs, cereal, yogurt, tea, juice, and coffee. It is in a great location, the area is quiet and only a short uber or subway ride from all of the cities main attractions. The hotel staff was amazing! Helpful, kind, and even humorous. If you're looking for a relatively inexpensive hotel that has the rooms and service of a 4 or 5 star hotel definitely check out Bavaria Hotel!
I cannot imagine better hotel. All clean, new and modern. Great service. Great breakfast
So perfect that only negative I could point out that there was no carpet on the room floor what I prefer. But I guess tiles are more hygienic, that's why.
A lots of details that gives a extra feeling of service like: small zoom mirror in bathroom, umbrella available for rainy days if needed, fancy designed coat hangers. tablet/pad available in room for hotel info and web browsing, wifi available of course, Smart TV (play photos, videos), direct USB wall plugs for charging, good bed, nice big windows, good thick curtains
We had a comfortable, modern room on the 5th floor and were pleased with the facilities (rain shower, balcony!) and provided amenities. Breakfast was good, as most reviews mention, and location is convenient as well.
My one complaint is that the key system was not very efficient. In the information book, it says to leave the key at the front desk when you go out and retrieve it upon return. In practice, there was not always a person at the desk and twice, no one came to the desk even when we rang the provided bell. I ended up keeping the key with me much of the time and that didn't seem to be a problem, but I would have liked to have the option. Especially since it was an option the hotel recommended.
Otherwise, our stay was good and I felt the comfort and quiet environment of the hotel was well worth the price.
We picked this hotel based on online reviews and were not disappointed. The hotel is lovely, the staff is friendly and helpful and the location is great. An easy walk or taxi/underground to everything in Munich. I didn't realize that they don't have air conditioning but they did have a cooling fan which made the room pleasant. Breakfast was more than you could ask for and the quiet courtyard in the back was the perfect way to start our day. Definitely recommend the hotel.
