The hotel itself is good, rooms are clean and nice! Breakfast is also fine for the price. The only problem are the employees… almost no one speaks German. And they mostly do not understand you when you speak German. And the hotel is IN Germany, so we expect the workers are reception to speak the language. At least if there would be 1 person, who would understand the language of the country you work at…. The only person with whom we were able to talk was a cook at the breakfast… I think for the level of the hotel, they should choose employees way better. And there should be always a person at the reception who would speak German…. The 3 employees we talked to and they didn’t understand a word were: 1) woman with curly blond hair 2) woman with dark straight hair 3) young guy . Managers, please fix that. Rather than that everything was good.
We had an Executive Plus room which was almost a junior suite, with its own living room and walk in closet. Very well appointed, and with good amenities. Welcome gift of chocolate and wine very well appreciated.
Service throughout the hotel is good. A special thanks to Greta in reception who was a star 🌟
Dinner room service good, breakfast could be better quality.
Position is very convenient, with the subway just outside the hotel.
Overall very very good!
Excellent hotel. Clean spacious rooms. Breakfast is outrageous .. Lots of choices. The hotel staff are attentive and they make your stay even more enjoyable. The hotel is a short walk to the center which makes it easy to get to the Christmas Markets. Lots of restaurants within walking distance.
A really nice hotel in a great location to see the city. We were upgraded upon arrival and the rooms were great. Breakfast was really good, although service for made to order food was really slow. Otherwise the hotel was great. Parking is available directly below the hotel, it's a bit pricey, but very convenient.
Beautifully designed and recent remodel! The staff were all friendly. The S-bahn was accessible through the hotel! The executive lounge was nice, the happy hour was a great snack before dinner. Breakfast was great in the restaurant, although they need more than 1 person making eggs to order. The executive breakfast was a smaller version, great for convenience, but go to main breakfast for more of a variety. Our small dog accompanied us, there were a few grass patches out front. The beds were a bit stiff, room was warm, luckily the windows opened. Parking was great, easy to get too. 2M height, expensive, 30€/night. The bar was great, good prices!
Excellent service, nice hotel. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and the lounge was nicely done. Would happily stay again. Although I've moved over to Marriott properties because they tend to be more consistent across the brand, this would be an excellent standard for Hilton properties to follow.
Very close to the subway station. Nice rooms. Good choices for dinner. Stayed for 1 night earlier. I will choose this hotel for longer stay next time.
Excellent beautiful and wonderful hotel with most of what you need inside
He has a great look
Spacious and renovated rooms with soundproof windows. Receptionist who checked us in was very friendly. Bathroom is just ok. Evening drinks were excellent, breakfast not as good as it was before Covid unfortunately
Overall am excellent hotel, there is a direct entrance from the S bahn into the hotel.
The room was good, got some nice extras such as a drinks voucher, some nuts and chocolates.
Only problem was the bathroom door would not close, didn't bother to complain as we were only staying one night, and disappointed as a gold member I didn't get an upgrade given the hotel was so quite.
Until they're done with their extensive renovations (sometime in 2019, I learned), don't come for the rooms (dated) or the WiFi (which is really unreliable a common theme at Hilton hotels everywhere. Maybe it's a Hilton policy).
But _do_ come for the convenience, the location and the friendly and very helpful staff.
If you're on a business trip to downtown Munich, you don't need glitzy chic, you need a place that just works well and this is one.
More stars after the renovation and thoroughly re-thinking the WiFi.
Clean rooms, helpful staff, convenient location to public transportation. Currently undergoing renovations, but still nice.
Nobody tells you when you book that the hotel is undergoing renovation
Arrive at 6am in the morning and with the renovation works it's a long trek to your room and nobody offers to help.
Only person who genuinely talks to.you is the bar man.he is great.
A lovely hotel. Had great service. And having a metro station underneath the hotel which is on the airport line and 2 stops from the city is great
They made me give a star to post BUT I can't even give a piece of a star!! My daughter and I traveled to Germany for medical treatment at the Kinick St Georg. As her treatment was nearing the end we booked this hotel Munich hoping to see a little of the city before returning to the USA. At the last minute the Kinik informed us Dani was not in the place we had hoped and would need to receive more treatment extending our stay another couple days. I called the hotel knowing there was a cancellation policy. I spoke with Julian who said he will speak to the supervisor. I received an Email from Michael telling me that regardless of the circumstances he was charging me 90% of a night’s stay. I had to cancel 7 days prior to the reservation. The worst part is I only booked the reservation 3 days in advance. I had no way of knowing my daughter’s treatment would be extended. You would think that being a Hilton honors member would count for something but it doesn’t. I would never stay in a hotel that has so little regard for people dealing with medical issues. Shame on you Michael! Hilton actually pays you to represent them. Disappointing!! You shouldn’t have a job. Hopefully going forward, you won’t
Nice neighborhood, good size rooms and bath.Cleanliness is an issue and they time to respond to guests' needs.Fridge/mini bar switched off at night making it a challenge if u want to keep your things cold
Very well located, 10-15min walking from Marienplatz, good size rooms and friendly staff
Clean and quiet hotel near central Munich. Easy access to public transportation. Rooms are a little warm during winter months - AC is turned off to conserve energy. Get and inside room if possible - street side will be noisy. 15 minute walk to Marien Platz
We held an international business conference there in December 2016 and made a terrible experience:
1. Our company logo was displayed with an incorrect Company name (spelling wrong). We were told “no correction was possible” by the staff of the hotel.
2. For three days there was no heating in the meeting room despite our request on turning the heating on.
3. At a coffee break, coffee was delivered without spoons, but with rotten milk.
4. Fruit salad at the breakfast was rotten! The kitchen was informed, but they still left it on offer after knowing it.
5. Lunch service was so slow that we had no time to have the dessert at the restaurant. We then had to have it in the meeting room instead while the meeting was going on.
If you choose this hotel, be prepared for a negative surprise!
This was a wonderful hotel and friendly staff. Self-parking and valet are the same price, so why not let them do it! Special stop for tour bus passengers for pick-up and drop-off. Food in restaurant was good. If you are really lucky, you will get Melanie as your server! Take a taxi or walk wherever you need to go. This was a last minute choice on our trip, and the best choice!
