A never again experience. Reservation was altered from their side and we found ourselfs with 3 people and 2 beds. We helped install the extra bed in the room. They tried to charge us 100€ more than we initially booked and although we booked a corner room we were installed in a normal room. No available free tables at breakfast so we stood waiting untill other people were finished.

The Hilton Köln is a member of the international chain located conveniently near the main station in the city. It is roughly a 10-15 minute walk from trains to reception, which is great for easy check-in overall the hotel is good, if it could use some updates to rooms. The staff are excellent and the breakfast is good as well. If you stay here familiarize yourself with the unusual lift layout, where individual lifts are located in several locations across each floor.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Staff is very helpful and great service.
Wonderful buffet breakfast.
Gym and sauna facilities are great. Equipment in good condition.
Bathroom needs updating. Shower over bath with no grab rails.

Wonderful experience staying in this centrally located hotel. The service was first rate and the breakfast quite extensive. The room was very comfortable. Easily walking distance to the Cathedral, main train station, and many museums.

This Hilton is in a pretty awesome locación, super central and quiet.at night I never had a problem sleeping and city center as well as central train station in walking distance. Rooms are absolutely outdated and do not justify the brand Hilton for this place.the bathrooms as well. However I'd like to note that the cervical was super nice and professional and everything was clean. The breakfast as always deserves an A+ just as you expect from a Hilton. In this hotel, really just the rooms are outdated and need to be renovated.

The staff were extremely polite, kind and knowledge - they really cannot be faulted. We were given a free upgrade to a suite (which was enourmous and came with a fruit bowl, chocolates and a bottle of bubbly). The spa is lovely although does not have a swimming pool. The breakfast costs money but is well worth the fee as it's an unlimited buffet of the highest quality. The bar was quiet and also does good food. The hotel location is fantastic too. It is next to the cathedral and one of the largest Christmas markets, which was the reason for our trip anyway. Would definitely recommend.

Very friendly, professional staff. This was one of the only Hilton's where they provide you Hilton Coins which can be used in the snack shop. Great location near the train station. Room was rather spacious and modern.

It was the worst experience which I ever have experienced in Hotel. I got the room no. 614 at first and they didn't explain me about checkout time, breakfast place, and which room is mine, because we booked two room one for me and my wife and the other for my nephew's family. So I had to go to reception several times to ask such things. When I tried to open the door, it didn't work. After several times of trial, I could open the door. However, when I was about to leave the room, the door lock didn't work. I was very annoying because it was already 11pm and I and my wife was really tired. I went to the reception and explained that but she didn't listen my word at all and just gave me new card key. I was sure that the problem is because of the door not card key. Anyway, I tried to new card key again and it didn't work. So I went to reception again! The woman finally recognized and told me they will call the engineer at next morning. Can you believe it? The door couldn't be locked! I should sleep with the door being open. So I claimed to change the room and they gave me new room as a matter of unpleasant necessity! When I got the new card key, I recognized that they gave us just one card key at first. I booked king bed and dom view room. But the new room (no.438) was like a jail with tall wall and small window and we couldn't see the dom. Also, there was no water, tee, coffee and even a door latch which were in 614 room. Furthermore, the refrigerator in my nephew's room, no. 626, was flooding on the floor!
It was terrible experience for me and my family and we will visit Hilton hotel never again!!

Nice hotel, spacious reception area and bar. Large rooms. We had two combining rooms, as we booked a family room. Parking in the basement with good space.. Great location! Just across the street from the Cathedral Friendly staff and clean, modern rooms.

Great hotel, some showers are a bit weird in design. Not the half glass Euro style but placement of shower heads is a little odd. Great otherwise!

As expected for a Hilton hotel, it's perfectly suitable for business trips etc.. Rooms are nice, cleanliness is OK and the bathroom is functional.
Breakfast is excellent as there is pretty much anything you might want. For 27€ on the other hand, it should be -still, if it was not included with our room I would not have paid 27€ for it-

Everyone was friendly and helpful! Plus the bed was comfortable and they have tasty food options in the lobby. We were there during the Christmas market session and despite their being super busy they were very attentive!
