Have been at the Helios Hotel Apartments here in Paphos for 10 days. What a fabulous place to stay. Everyone of the staff have been absolutely fantastic. Could not do enough for you. Very friendly and relaxed atmosphere. Spotlessly clean, airy, spacious rooms. Beautiful pool with reasonably priced bar which sells food. Restaurants and bars nearby. Only a stones throw from the beach. Regular bus service outside to take you to Coral Beach and Paphos harbour. Definitely deserves a 5 Star Award. Dennis and Carole Maguire

I've been here two weeks and enjoyed every minute..6.5.2018.I explained to the travel agency back home what i hoped to get and we got past the all inclusive 5 star holiday i genuinely didn't want.When i first walked into my studio flat here i realised what i was shown by the travel agency and later the hotel's website i realised i got exactly what i had asked for.They don't tell you how friendly the staff are though and that includes the cleaners and maintainance guys.I never used the pool,gym or sauna but they looked pretty good to me.The hotel is by the sea,great sunsets by the way.Lots of taverners,bars,restaurants and shops in the area but surprisingly peaceful and quiet.I came here to see as much as the island as i could,and that's what i did.There is a bus stop across the road and the links are very good.My memories of Helios will be of the people who work here and the fact what i read on the websites is exactly what i got.No negatives whatsoever.Would i come back? Definite yes but there are lots of places in the world to explore so it might be a while.Some folks come back year after year and can totally understand it.This might sound too good a review but if you ever walk into a hotel and think YES,perhaps you will understand.That's it.Just waiting to go home now.I packed mosquito spray.There aren't any mosquitoes.Leave yours at home.Helios doesn't have any.Maybe the odd lizard will say good morning as it passes by but nothing will bite you.You will need suntan cream though.have a great holiday.

Very friendly staff and cleaners. The cats on site were great, so friendly. Two even accompanied us one evening for a strole along the seashore and back. So don't forget to feed them!
Not much of a beach if you are into those things. Pool is also quite shallow. Apartments are clean but very basic and the sofas are SO uncomfortable. However, for the price, pretty good. You do get a teapot and two tea caddies :)response / report this review -

Very good hotel for 3 starts. Clean, tidy, comfortable, nice pool and beach at the back. The paid wifi was a bit of a let down, as it seems to be on and off, but overall a great experience.

I have to admit, its not the best hotel. I will never understand why its been rated 5 stars? Anyway, the reason why I'd never return is I feel the hotel doesn't sort of live up to what I thought. Or what is written down about it. Unfortunately, the walls in the apartments are so thin, you can hear all the scraping of chairs and movements of other guests which often kept me and my partner up at night. You could also hear the guests upstairs using the toilet which is pretty disgusting lol (we were on the second floor). We made a complaint and the manager seemed annoyed by the complaint. His attitude didn't seem very friendly however the lady receptionist was much more sympathetic although nothing was done about the issue.
The pool area isn't the best, as it is very small for the size of the hotel leaving the pool crowded, they also was not enough sun beds at times. I also noticed a guest was eating in the pool, and although I told a member of staff absolutely nothing was done. The snack bar food really isn't very nice, and most of the time is dead. They are definitely better hotels in the area! I will not be coming back to Helios bay. It has beautiful views of the sea and a beautiful sun set. It is a shame however as the beach is so wavey and rockey you cannot safely swim their. Great holiday, but definitely will be more careful where we stay.response / report this review -

Having returned last week, this was a very relaxing holiday, at a very nice place, with 2 boys, the pool kept them happy, and the staff could not do enough for you. It was very hot, but plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, you could keep in the shade.
Situated between coral bay and the harbor easy access for night life should you wish, a very clean friendly resort.
We will look to go back, but maybe hire a car to of the islandresponse / report this review -

Просто шикарный отель!!! Бронировали номер-студио, но нас приятно удивили - заселили в виллу с двумя спальнями и гостиной на 4х человек!) Были вдвоем и + маленький ребёнок (2г) - кроватка уже ждала нас в домике, и дали горшок (что значительно облегчило нам отдых😊). Персонал русскоговорящий -очень радушно приняли, на любые вопросы отвечают подробно и дружелюбно. В номере каждый день убираются, смена белья и полотенец раз в 3 дня. Кухня оборудована всем необходимым - новой утварью, микроволновкой, холодильником, печкой и плитой: чувствовали себя как дома- можно закупиться в супермаркете (ближайший - Phillipos) и легко готовить разные вкусности. Wifi в номере платный (10 € за неделю), бесплатно на ресепшене. Кондер (в каждой комнате), ТВ и холодильник бесплатно!!! Бассейн у отеля очень хороший и комфортный - есть и маленький для ребёнка. Местный пляж на четверку, но рядом с отелем остановка и всего в 7 минутах на автобусе- есть шикарные пляжи - Корал Бэй и для детишек - Кораллия.
В общем, всем советуем сюда! Очень приятно было отдыхать здесь!response / report this review -

Amazing location and view..the neer by beach is cool and the pool is doing the job as well ,try to get a full sea view apt or studio on the 2nd floor ..kitchen is fully equipped
