A lot better than many reviews would have you believe.
Perhaps not four star by UK standardsbut at half the price of a dingy B&B in any UK seaside town I'm not complaining.
Stayed here for a week and the staff were more than happy to help with anything we mentioned to them (which wasn't much).
Food was pretty decentI think I put on about half a stone.
Location near enough to the town centre to go if you want but far enough not to be annoyed by late night revellers.
I will have no second thoughts about going back sometime in the future.
Just leaving hotel after a 1 week all inclusive holiday.
Staff make everyone welcome especially Mario
Food varied and plentiful.
Would recommend hotel as good value for the money

Well It is not a 4-star hotel, maybe 20 years ago it was, but not now. Now it is max 3-star maybe It badly need full renovation. Almost everything is broken (electricity key broken, toilet was leaking, door key broken, trash bean broken, cabinet drawer broken and so on). Also you have to pay to have fridge, security box and internet in the room, which was at the end of the day not working. Food They try, but breakfast is exactly same every day. Swimming pool area - not well finished.
No point giving any stars what a disappointment. Went all inclusive and found i spent more at restaurants as the food was dire. Cooked breakfast was cold, the desserts was inedible. Also had to pay for the room safe & fridge. There was no kettle in the room which I didn't expect from a 4 star hotel. Room beds was hard & uncomfortable. The decor was disgraceful, also the shower leaked. Lastly the staff was unfriendly too so DONT STAY HERE ITS AWFUL.
Don't bother going there cos their big fat liers. And dont care about people with learning difficuties
A very comfortable hotel in Paphos Cyprus, friendly service, two outdoor pools plus inside pool, sauna and fitness center. Closes for winter months.

Checked in yesterday, Tried to check out today all other hotels full, this hotel is NOT 4 star, more 3, no hot water, TV in room not working, reception cannot find key to safe in room, very dated rooms, would advise not staying here!!!!
Lovely hotel in a very accessible location, with great poolside faciIity, evening entertainment. Child friendly. Some of the receptionists could be a little more customer focussed.
Rooms are not standard of 4 star bit old fashioned ..food in morning is always same could do more verity staff are friendly. .I would say 3 star
Definitely not the 4 star it is rated at. Rooms are dirty and not cleaned every day, beds made, that's it. Pools are OK and they are the best thing about the hotel. Kids club is on existent too.
Awful hotel in the middle of nowhere. I stayed here in 2008. Thinking back id have had a better holiday sleeping rough.
The hotel is very smart and the staff are very accommodating. Nothing is too much trouble and they are chatty too. Food has been outstanding, if you went hungry it would be of your own doing as the amount and variety is second to none. There are several pools including an indoor pool, sauna, steam, a gym and a spa so you can be pampered too.
Not a four star, possible 2.5 painted bathtubs old decor way past sell by date. Rip off half board as you have to pay for absolutely everything including fridge in bedroom. Not allowed to have your own drinks including water on display in the hotel.
Avlida hotel is basic.and not worthy of four stars. Our room on arrival was small soulless and grubby. We upgraded at a cost of 210 euros and although that room was bigger and had a sea view the room was no better regarding decor other than it had a tiled floor instead of carpet. Which was a bonus. The road was noisy and delivery lorries arriving early in the morning added to the noise Our balcony door was broken and we reported that to reception on the first day. We were told that it will be repaired the following day but it never was and on our checkout we reported it again. The lighting is very dingy and lights are only turned on for a certain time. The lamps in reception were never turned on and the one I saw was broken. The hotel needs to be refurbished. The food was basic and the breakfast was the best regarding food. Dinner was awful. Lunch was served by the pool area and I noticed that the birds were feeding from the serving spoons that were left out. We ate out most times as we were half board. We were given top sheets to use but they were not put on the bed. We only had a duvet. On our last night we didn't get any top sheet at all. I reported this to the guest relations lady on the reception desk when she interacted a conversation with me. She said she wasn't making excuses but the hotel have new cleaning staff and they may not know the ropes. I read in one reply that the hotel sent to another guest review saying that they want to retain the charm of the hotel. Grubby and rundown is not charming. On a good note the staff were pleasant and polite. They gave me a bottle of bubbly for my birthday which was very nice. The bus service is good and frequent. Would I stay there again? No.
Pocket friendly vacation, tasty all inclusive, friendly staff, good location.
A good place for a cheap family holiday, but not a 4 star hotel, cheap knock off Greek sculptures, you have to pay for WiFi, safe, fridge etc. The food was dry, tasteless etc. like school canteen food but worse. Staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself is tired and unmaintained. Relatively cheap for a 4 star but only with 3 star standards.
Very friendly staff and management. Clean and well kept.
This place is tired they charge you for everything wifi fridge which dont work! Hated it.unhelpful staff .on a dual carriage way horrid
The food is fantastic such a warm welcome. The pool is brilliant and we even got a prime position sunloungers at 3pm on one of the days.
