  Clean, nice staff. Scandinavian people will drop their towels at the beds near the swimmingpool. So, difficult to get a bed

  Terrible breakfast. The type of hotel that allows people to reserve pool chairs by placing a towel om them, even if not used. Put fridge had a towel in the bottom, because it was leaking. Air con worked on and off.

  Really nice hotel right near the centre of Santa Maria. Walking distance to the beach and the main roads with restaurants and bars. Good place of you want to try lots of places rather than an all inclusive. Our room was pretty dark and there's only one English channel on the TV but you won't spend much time in their anyway. Breakfast is pretty good, omelettes are tasty, good choice of fruit (but you need to get there early for the good stuff) and defo try the biscuits!Only real downsides are WiFi is only available in the communal areas and the safety deposit box is 2 euro a night which is pretty ridiculous.
  
  Also not solely a Pontao issue but don't bring sterling, everywhere tries to give you the same exchange rate as Euros which (for now) is a rip off. You can't get the local currency outside of the country so change to euros before and either change in the bank or take cash out of machine.
  
  Also there is a super market if you walk 5 mins down the road to the right of the petrol station which has the best value for water, local snacks and beer :)

  Just returned after spending a lovely relaxing week at this hotel my room was a superior one everything worked safe air conditioner hot water and was cleaned daily the grounds around the pool are kept immaculate will be returning

  Low price Hotel which is not at the beach. The rooms are very large and clean..Air condition is not very powerful. The breakfast is not great at all, but heyYou safe money to go somewhere else for that. If you don't wanna spend your holidays inside of the hotel then it's perfect

  Very mediocre hotel, great location though.
  We had no hot water, broken safe, and a number of very unsafe sockets.
  I would not recommend it. There are far better hotels in the area, for similar price.
