Stayed here last year Feburary for one week and booked again for this year loved it ! Lovely staff lush food so chilled might be one of the older hotels but loved it last year was our 1st time in cabo Verde and we aren't disappointed looking forward to returning on the 9th Feburary

This hotel is pretty run down and need a renovation, but i've been told that it will happen in the start of next year (2018).
Other then that here in december '17 and was told that they would have WiFi all over the Hotel and in every room from 1 of november, but now there are not. The first 2 rooms we got had no WiFi, but the nice staff here are serviceminded at gave us a free room upgrade (Not sure if that was the only free room they had with WiFi in it) but it was a good upgrade, and this is written from the room we got with working WiFi.
The location of the Hotel is whats sells it, it's just down to the beach.
And like i said, the staff are serviceminded and nice.
The Animation team are young and good to go talk too the guests and try to activate them with stuff like Water gymnastic, beach volley, meditation and so on.

Hotel needs some maintenance and that starts next year in April 2018 but apart from that it's a great place to go for your holiday

You get what you pay for. Food is ok, service ok, cleanliness ok. The beach on the other side is amazing. The staff is friendly and helpful. There can be a lack of glasses at the bar in the evening which means you get served in a tiny plastic cups. There are plenty of sun beds at the beach but there is just a handful of roof and no parasols.

Perfect place to stay in Santa Maria. Good animation team, good food, perfect place right at the beach. Nice swimming pool and the employees are very friendly.

Staff and entertainment was fantastic!!! Rooms was a little outdated but very clean!! Food was very good .. Hotel service was excellent staff couldn't do more to please you .. Would highly recommend for the price we paid ..680 pounds well spent!!!

We all got ill by the pool and food. It says it was refurbished but all they did was add a new restaurant so the place is scratty, toilet rolls holding broken windows in place, toilet without toilet seat! Exposed wires by showers, non shutting windows and the manager said it didn't matter because there was no crime in the hotel!!! The rep was rubbish and didn't move us because she said other people have different standards to us! The only good thing was the animation team who were brilliant with entertainment but that isn't a reason to go there. Take my advise and chose a different hotel or you'll know what I mean!
