Only used the beach bar but it's well worth stopping for a few. Nice beach Veiws fair service food looks good. Now has happy hour drinks half price from about 1700.

Fabulous hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and plenty of choice from continental to cooked breakfast. The restaurant is buffet style in the morning but silver service at evening. The hotel own the beach bar which is only about 20m from the hotel serving great food and wines.
The only downside for us was the lack of meat on the menu it's all fish but we enjoyed it so much we are planning to return in September!response / report this review -

We ate downstairs here while on holiday Easter 2018, expected better food from such a hotel. You can enjoy a drink or two upstairs where the setting is just perfect Haven't stayed at the hotel but walking through it looks absolutely stunning.

We just came home from a wonderful dinner at Morabeza. We sat at the bar upstairs and ordered from both the standard & tapas menus. The atmosphere and beauty of the property is top notch. The food & service were excellent & VERY reasonably priced. Our best restaurant find in Santa Maria by far. HIGHLY recommended!

Super nice staff all around, lots of pool/person, large rooms, and good food. There are three restaurants, all of them good. The Beach club serves lunch - try some fish from the grill! The Palmiers is good, try the Cape Verde buffet on Saturdays. But the pearl in the oyster - probably the best food in all of Cape Verde - is the restaurant La Tortue! We've tried around 75% of their very varied menu with dishes from lots of different culinary geography, and it's absolutely amazing regardless of it's the typical Cape Verdian Catshupa, the Morrocan meatballs, the Indian curry (beef/fish) or the tapas from all over the world. This chef has skills!
Wether you're staying at Morabeza or not, do not miss La Tortue if you're on this Cape Verde Island! It's not even expensive! You will not regret it!response / report this review -

The oldest hotel on Sal and in our opinion the best with classic Portuguese features a delight on the roof top bar which is well stocked and provides amazing local cocktails.

Probably the best hotel in Santa Maria and the Island of Sal (all inclusive resorts excluded); full service hotel with bar/restaurant/beachclub/Minigolf/tenniscourt/gym and 3 different poolssports entertainment like surfing and SUP available enjoy the happy hour from 630-730 pm with Caipirinha, wine and local draft beerexcellent restaurant with local and international dishes

Hotel Morabeza. Very good sevice and food. Pool. Mostly older guests. Security guarded hotel. Direct near the beach. Only a small gravelled between hotel and beach. Beautyful view! Good cleaning. Worth the money. I recommend rooms with sea-view, so you don't get disturbed by the traffic on the backside.

Possiamo dire che s. Msria si é sviluppata intorno a questo hotel, situato al centro della città , con giardino piscina, centro congressi, spiaggia privata e ristorante interno e sulla spiaggia. Siamo al lato del pontile sulla spiaggia principale di s maria, sabbia bianca, buon servizio, buona cucina, bellissimo posto anche solo per stare in spiaggia o prendersi una pausa bevendo un caffè o uno snack guardando il mare.
