  Again it looks like an abandon place. Far from the main village of Santa Maria.

  The location is quite remote which makes it ideal for a quiet holiday, the place is clean and we'll maintained and the staff are lovely. The food however is not great but there is nowhere else nearby to eat.

  Absolute sham. What a waste of money. This is a very low quality bed and breakfast, if you can call that a breakfast.
  Lovely and helpful staff but there is only so much they can do when the quality isn't there.
  If enjoy razor sharp stone beach and ice cold swimming pool then this is the place for you.
  Stayed there for a week but had to go to st.Maria everyday for food a decent beach.
  The hotel restaurant was always out of raw material, five days out of seven they had no chicken!!!
  Will not come back, ever. If your used to quality or looking for quality look elsewhere cus you won't get it here.

  Amazing place. Very relaxing, great views of Monte do leão, protected bay full of coral reefs, perfect for snorkeling and diving.
  2 swimming pools, beach closed by a bay which makes it very safe for all ages
  Definitely recommend it

  a great day out to be had you can just chill out on the beach and swim in the clear blue sea or chill out by the bar and pool with a great little restaurant great views of the bay

  Another stop on an island tour - this was apparently the first resort that tourists could stay at - built by an Italian guy in the 80's. The area is quite nice, a nice small, sheltered harbour in the middle, with the resort set out on either side. There is a communal pool with a club house / restaurant but it was very quiet when we were there so I don't know just how busy / noisy it gets.
