Just had a wonderful meal at La Paila the ribs are to die for, tender and juicy and the price is very reasonable. We will be returning tomorrow night

This place is a great find! The food and drinks are good along with the prices. BYO cigars.

Great accidental find. Huge portions--be careful not to order too much. Prices a bargain. Ribs and lamb were highlights, chicken pork and ropa also exceptional. Got a bucket of beers--bottles and glasses were so cold the heads on fresh pours froze. Would love chance to eat there daily.

Delicious and cheap food! We ate here twice during our stay in Havana. The pork loin with Moro was delicious as was the steak with onions. The Pina colada and mojito are good and strong. Prices are very reasonable, 7 Cuc or less per plate. Drinks about 3 cuc. This was our favorite restaurant during our stay.

Relaxed open patio restaurant with excellent food at prices that make you wonder how they do it. Very conveniently located, and they almost always have what the menu says they have--a real plus in Havana.

Beautiful little restaurant in Havana. Large portions (once they brought out the plate I understood why they looked at us like we were crazy when we ordered the kids each a plate) of delicious Cuban BBQ. There is a very warm, cozy atmosphere and they even had a waitress that spoke enough English to accommodate us. The icing on the cake was the cats hanging out around the tables waiting for food to drop, pretty cool. Will be going back next time we are in Havana.

Good cuban food to steps from the apt! Very well served, you may ask a dish to share. To try: Cordero (lamb) or Costillas de Cerdo (pork). Very affordable prices!

Paladar La Paila is one of the best privately-owned restaurants that I've had the opportunity to check out. Their grilled lobster (langosta) and pork chops (solomillo de cerdo) is absolutely delicious. I believe they cost around ~8-12CUC ($8-12USD).
