Tucked away from the chaos of the "downtown core", this restaurant might be a little challenging to find as Google maps is not entirely accurate of its location. Once you do find it, you'll be welcomed to a beautiful mansion-like building with a wonderful patio. Food is a bit pricier compared to the rest of Havana, but my gosh the flavours are spot-on tasty. Home-made mojitos were a little too herb-ey for my tasting, but my partner loved them. For food, we tried the octopus and the lobster; both were incredibly delicious and complex in flavours. A lobster served like this in Canada would've cost twice the price. The sweet potato served as an accompaniment (called boniato) is worth mentioning as it was so delicious. We asked for a second serving! To finish, was a flan with ice cream. Absolutely recommend this place to traveling foodies. It has a very high rating for a good reason!

We came in a group of 5 and ordered a range of entrees, drinks, and appetizers to share. There was not a bad one in the group. Great experience!

If you're an American or English-speaker and looking for a great dining experience with outstanding service, you have to go here. It's a bit costly in relation to your other standard Havana restaurants (we were 2 ppl and ordered an appetizer, 2 entrees, and 6 cocktails total for like 75 CUC, which is about 85 USD), but everything was very delicious. But best of all, the waiters really take their job seriously and deliver outstanding service. They spoke perfect English and described every item from their menu in detail - we didn't find that level of service anywhere else. Highly highly recommendand if you come on Sunday evening, you can go over to Case de la Amistad (which is across the street) for some live rock n roll music and 0.50 CUC beers.

This was by far the best Restaurant in the entire island, I highly recommend it!!! Coming to Cuba for the first time, I wanted to feel like I was in the 1950's. At this restaurant, which is a restored mansion in a very elegant neighborhood, I was able to get a real feeling of dining in an El Vedado Mansion from the 50's. It is a very luxurious place, the best food, the best drinks, and overall the best experience I had in my entire trip! Very Highly recommend it!

When I was there these were the kindest people. They took great care to make everything perfect. Instead of printed menus, the waitress brings a chalkboard to the table with the menu. After describing a few items and answering questions she said "what do you really want even if it is not on the menu". They made an amazing fried squid as an appetizer. There was a small misunderstanding about the price of one of the entrees but that can happen when you order off the menu. Great view from the balcony. Overall excellent. If anything goes wrong, there is a hospital across the street.

El Servicio es increíble pero la comida es mejor! Les recomiendo pedir varios platos y compartir, pedir un mojito y tomar un Ron selección de maestros sin hielo.

This family estate turned private "Paladar,"/restaurant is not to be missed while in Havana. The gorgeous family home has been maintained with elegance through the generations and the grandson now runs the restaurant after learning the hospitality business while working in Spain. He is truly a gracious host and so happy show off the home with the family antiques paired with a funky bar inspired by airport billboards. The food is amazing too. One of the few restaurants in Havana that has figured out that atmosphere sometimes can outweigh the food.
