The best private restaurant in the heart of havana .amazing decorations and services .i recommend stop by
Among the best I've tried in Cuba. Relatively pricey but nonetheless delicious.
I've been half a dozen times, I'll admit it's not my favorite. It's usually crowded with rowdy Americans, the service pretends to be upscale (but is rushed, inattentive) and the food superior (I've had much better experiences in many other Havana restaurants). The dining rooms (inside, outside) aren't that great either. Pass.
Super cute staff, eccentric indoor/outdoor design, beautiful garden, delicious food, good prices, what else? You won’t regret it, promise!
It was rhe nicest restaurant I’ve ever been to. The decoration was unique. The food was served on secind hand plates amd the cutlery, glasses and salt shakers were all different shapes and sizes which was very extraordinary. The food was extremely delicious and fresh also the staff was super cute and helpful. The menu didn’t have classic dishes, there was a lot new creations with flavour like the mix of sweet and savoury and I could feel the party in my mouth. Love Love Love it! Thanks for the great experience!
This place has good food but is a bit on the high price side.
Quiet good food, quiet expensive.
Very negative dining experience due to unpleasant service and 1 hour and 30 minutes waiting for 2 main meals. Upon arrival, we were amazed by the restaurant decoration and climbed up stairs with excitement to enjoy our last night in Cuba. When we arrived at 18h at the entrance, after few minutes wondering at reception we were greeted with a woman who seems to be the manager with a poker face saying five minutes please.
Then we went up stairs further into dining area, got served with menu, asked some questions for the meals, being replied by another server completely lack of interest in explaining, then our waiting starts. 15 min later, we got the drink and bread. Then 1 hour and 15 min later, we got our meals. We arrived at around 18h and left at 20h. During this time, servers passing us by without caring much about our presence as if the long waiting is normal. We tried to keep our good mood and expect to have some meals worth waiting, but honestly, the meal of 15CUC is less than mediocre and you could get one great meal with less than 10 CUC in other cubain restaurants with a much better service.
We asked for the bill, 10 min later no one came so we decided to wait on the entrance to show that we are done waiting and needed to head out. Woman manager passed us by and gave us a unpleasant look then talked to other clients without doing anything. Then one server came up with the bill. We paid and would not want to waste one second more in this place.
Conclusion: if you go here for the food, you could find a much better restaurant with cheaper price and better location closer to Havane Vieja; if you come here for the service, there is almost none; if you come for ambiance between lovers, maybe with love you could ignore this unpleasant service and mediocre meals.
I would've rated this a 5-star restaurant if they were a little cheaper. A few years ago, when good food and restaurants were scarce in Havana, this restaurant was a diamond in rough. Hope they kept it the same was. Awesome owners and friendly staff.
The food here is delicious and the atmosphere is amazing.
Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Havana. We visited as a group and enjoyed s great meal from appetizers to dessert.
The tastiest dishes of Havana. The dish of the photo costs 15 CUC. At peak times it is good to have booked. For evening hours, book a table on the terrace!
Excellent private restaurant!!!
Very pretty atmosphere. The French-Cuban fusion was delicious!
Excelente serviço. Local muito agradável, bonito e descontraído.
Muy buen lugar, el lugar bonito, la comida rica y de calidad y el servicio muy bueno
An absolutely beautiful place to enjoy a meal. The setting is a beautifully restored old mansion from Havana's heyday filled with all kinds of antiques and oddities. The main dining room is very nice but the two open air balconies on either side would be my preference. As a large group, we were served a set meal, family style. Meant to be an elevated version of a typical Cuban meal, it was delicious! Service was gracious and refined. This one rivals any of the places here in San Francisco as a fine dining establishment. Make certain you use the restrooms though and enjoy the surprise art there.
Muy buen Paladar (restaurante clandestino). Ambiente familiar en una elegante casona.
